The Perfect Storm I’ve had occasion to talk with more than a few people, some Christians, some not, about my conclusions regarding Trump and the Antichrist. Even putting the biblical connection aside; Trump’s rise to power has been something that in and of itself is profoundly wonderful and marvelous to behold. I don’t mean good or lovely. What the world is witnessing is something, in and of itself, full of wonder; something that one marvels at. Mouths are left open in awe. How can this be happening? This was my mindset before I made the connection. “This ain’t right.”, I said to myself. I think subconsciously I knew early on who he was. I just couldn’t bring myself to admit it. Some things are just beyond belief. Life is now changing so quickly that reason cannot keep up with it anymore. We have now entered an age of wonder. Oh sure, people can still compartmentalize the world around them as they go on with their private …show more content…
He was the “man around town” in New York City in the 1980’s. He was always an attraction at star-studded events, schmoozing with everyone in his effervescent way. His marriages, affairs and divorces were favorite topics of tabloid trash. Extremely wealthy, his business adventures included professional football, wrestling, casinos and the Miss U.S.A. as well as the Miss Universe Pageant. Of course his main gig always has been real estate. His books, including “The Art of the Deal”, are well known. He put his name on anything and everything; clothing, wine, vodka, steaks; even a board game. The younger generation would not be left out either as his hit show, The Apprentice, lasted fourteen seasons. The man lived the quintessential American dream; a life of luxury, decadence, power, beautiful women, unimaginable wealth and fame. He entered at just the right time; a time when America was looking for just that kind of person; a person who embodied the id of a self-seeking individualistic
Technological advances occur all around, whizzing by, while human values change little and at a much slower pace.
Brian attracted attention where ever he went. Editors from Money Magazine, Barrons and Wall Street Journal were always competing for interviews. Everyone wanted to be with and listen to Brian. After all he was a rising star and the golden boy with a Midas touch. Beautiful women flocked to him like a magnate and Brian loved it. He would host elaborate parties and invite the “movers and shakers” of business, industry, media and society.

Throughout America’s history there have been countless influential leaders that have proudly been American. Those have held positions of politicians, soldiers, and . Kanye Omari West has opened the eyes of today's generation and still continues to shape American history. His musical influence has transformed the lives of countless people. Inspiring many to stand up and fight for what they believe in is something Kanye West continues to do even today.. Also, opening the eyes of many to racial injustice towards African American citizens. I’ll further elaborate my claim in the following paragraphs using historical evidence.

Due to a leg injury, baseball was no longer possible. He then turned to his real passion music, and decided to pursue a musical career (Brenchley, 2003, DVD). Throughout his musical career, he earned many titles “Mr. Dynamite” and “The Godfather of Soul” are known as the hardest working men in show business. His demeanor at times was often that of a tyrant, generous nature, tolerant, or at times demanding. He was the greatest entertainer during his time.
F. Scott Fitzgerald was not just one of America’s most prestigious short-story writer and novelist, he was also a celebrity. His writing is famous for its depictions of the Jazz Age in the 1920s. The Jazz Age during which Fitzgerald wrote “The Diamond as Big as the Ritz” was a very complex period for United States. Americans experienced extremely materialistic tendencies during the post War World I boom. It was a very prosperous time period for most Americans as the natio...
Because P.T. Barnum catered to the public’s desire to be entertained, he paved the way for entrepreneurs in the entertainment industry. While P.T Barnum may be a name that at first may seem unfamiliar, one realizes that we are exposed to Barnum’s legacy every day. Which American has never heard of the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus, or never eaten Barnum animal crackers? Or which American hasn’t seen Toddlers and Tiaras, of which the concept of beauty and baby pageants was invented by P.T. Barnum himself. The name P.T. Barnum is synonymous with the curious. The New York Sun declared that if it is bold, it is Barnum. If it is big, it is Barnum. As a showman he stands alone. (Fleming, Fenwick) P.T. Barnum is an iconoclast in his own right. An iconoclast is a person who does something others say cannot be done. This definition implies that iconoclasts are different from other people, more precisely, the iconoclast’s brain is different, and it is different in three ways: perception, fear response, and social intelligence. (Berns 6) P.T. Barnum was the Steve Jobs of his day; he created something that no one else thought to do. In the 1800s, P.T. Barnum was a household name. He knew every important person of his time, from presidents and queens to celebrities and inventors. He went buffalo hunting with General Custer. He was friends with Mark Twain and Abe Lincoln. (Entrepreneur’s Hall of Fame) Barnum once wrote that he “preferred to be kicked than not be noticed at all.” If Lincoln was the great moral force of the day, infusing the young democracy with a hallowed conscience, Barnum was the great liberating force, chasing out old puritanical inhibitions and letting in the light of joy. Over the course of his long lifetime, ...
He is Jimmy, the “Mr. Nobody from nowhere” (Fitzgerald 130). He is James, the boy with not a single cent to his name but a dream as big as the stars. He is the Great Gatsby, the rich and mysterious thrower of extravagant parties. Gatsby achieves his most well-known title as “The Great” when he is at the peak of his life and as rich as he can be, yet does he deserve it? Many “great people” have gone through history and literature without ever receiving such a title, yet a bootlegger from the West achieves such an honor. Gatsby’s wealth, friends, past, personality, gestures, and even name are all fake and made up by himself. However, what actually makes him great is how fake he really is. In history, the people who mostly receive the title of “great” are magicians, illusionists, and street side performers. In a way, Gatsby is greater than even the Great Houdini because he creates an illusion that fools not only everyone around him but himself as well. Gatsby develops an illusion that has a peculiar nature and origin that leads to his rise and fall. It is in the nature of such an elaborate illusion that an illusionist can gain the title of great.
We all heard of 9/11. I mean who hasn’t heard of 9/11, do you guys know who planned and attacked the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and try to hit the U.S Capitol. It is Osama Bin Laden the dead terrorist and the leader of Al Qaeda. Osama Bin Laden is a terrorist that bombed the U.S and the western philosophy by attacking U.S embassies, the Oklahoma city suicide attack and a lot more suicide attacks that are really dangerous. He was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1957 or 1958.
...ne he didn’t even know. He worked very hard for Wilshiem to make his money. He was constantly taking phone calls from all over the country. It was obvious that he had become a very wealthy man. He even became so well known that a reporter showed up at his house asking for a statement. He had obviously achieved the wealthy lifestyle.
The illuminati are a real group that did exist at some point in history. Despite people not believing that it does exist at this time, the illuminati was a real group in the 18th century, the illuminati is a group created in Bavaria in the 18th century because it was supposedly aiming to limit the interference of the church in public life. This mysterious group supposedly controls everything in this planet from: finance, government, religion, and culture.
Today it is still just as necessary to have a why or a purpose to live. Every person must have something
Believers during the tribulation will live in a self-centered, violent and evil world. James encourages believers to put aside anger and wickedness and instead, humbly submit themselves to God’s Word implanted. These are traits contrary to The Antichrist, whose followers will also be implanted — with the Mark of The Beast. This will be a time when being a doer of the word is not just an evidence of genuine faith, but a necessity for survival. There will be an apostate religion in that day made up of deluded individuals who cannot see themselves as they truly are. I have said elsewhere that Donald Trump is a man with no ability to see himself as he is; there is no conscience. Like James 1:23-24 so eloquently illustrates, Trump is a man that, upon looking at himself in a mirror, walks away with no ability to retain any true understanding of his wicked self. This psychological compartmentalization will be pandemic during The
... has changed. People unnecessarily use drugs and other stimulus, e.g. coffee, to be able to work harder, longer and be smarter. Young people feel pressured to use enhancement pills because if they want to be at the head of the class or the best at what they do, they need to give the best they can. People have been given artificial body parts for some time now, while at the same time, the military is planning to use those same inventions on a more advanced level. The question of privacy and our freedom of choice is also present. Little gadgets enhance our lives, but at the same time they are the ones who control our decisions. With the economy where only those who have funded can afford enhancement, inequality rises. When there is a chance to make us, human being better and even more superior, everyone should have the same rights to become and achieve what they want.
