Don is a film based on the character Don/Vijay, played by Amitabh Bachchan. Don is the leader of an underworld gang, who is the most wanted criminal by the Indian police. Don is a very powerful and controlling criminal. When Don discovers that a member of his gang (Ramesh) is deciding to leave his gang, he murders him. Ramesh’s murder then causes two new enemies for Don. Roma (Ramesh’s sister) and Kamini (Ramesh’s fiancé) both plan on seeking revenge for Ramesh’s murder. Kamini makes a first attempt of trapping Don and handing him over to police by seducing him. Unfortunately, Don murders Kamini and escapes from the police. However, the plot twists when Don is murdered during a struggle with the police. Don dies in the backseat of DSP’s car and since only the DSP knows about this incident, he hastily buries Don in a cemetery. The plot advances when DSP discovers a person named Vijay, who is a Don’s lookalike. Vijay is a common man, who is taking care of two parentless children. DSP trains Vijay to appear exactly like Don, so he can find key information and imprison the people associated with the underworld. On the other hand, Roma is unaware of Vijay’s identity, thus, assuming Do...

Lastly, the mukhdra is the outro of the song and slowly fading out with dholak and ghungroo accompanying. Thus, through the amazing voice of Kishore Kumar the song gets to the hearts of the listening audience.
To conclude, in my opinion, this movie was noteworthy for its unique songs. The music composer of Don, Kalyanji Ananadji created remarkable songs. He used a combination of Indian and western instruments to enhance his songs. For example, in the song “Jiska Mujhe Tha Intezar” he beautifully combined saxophone, trumpet, dholak and bells. Therefore, Kalyanji Ananadji’s achievements has taken Indian music to a next level and made his compositions for the film Don unforgettable.
Don grew up playing hockey, for he was playing in the OHL by the time he was 17. Unfortunately, Don never made it big, but he managed to make his way around the minor league system for a good 15 years. He played a few games in the NHL, attended many training camps, but nothing to brag about. But, that is where Don is different, for he will brag about his days on the ice. He will let every one know about his toughness, grit and determination. After his days as a minor league player, Don was hired on as the head coach for the Boston Bruins, where he experienced much success including a coach of the year award in 1976. It was in 1984 where Don found his true calling though, for it was that year where he accepted a job on the popular Hockey Night in Canada.

In The Important Places filmmaker choose awesome music because it gives viewer to feel in the best mood while watching. Similarly, Contributing Writer for Film Rejects, Allison, says “Music is an important part of any film, but with documentaries, the music becomes all the more important because it is reflecting real world issues and not just a works of fiction.” I agree with Allison, because music is the one media to draw viewers’ feeling, which touches the soul as well as capable of bonding people together from different background, and cultural heritage. This make music is key in the filmmaker, specially documentaries film to draw millions of people
Don John plays an essential role for nearly all of the trickery and deception in this play. He acts like a catalyst and an instigator for trouble, whose sole aim is to marmalize the love and happiness between Claudio and Hero. Shakespeare uses foreshadowing of Don John’s villainy to display the trickery and deception: ’It better fits my blood to be distained of all than to fashion a carriage to rob love from any, in this, though I cannot be said to be a flattering honest man, it must not be denied but I am a plain-dealing villain. I am trusted with a muzzle and enfranchized with a clog: therefore I have decreed not to sing in my cage. If I had my mouth, I would bite, if I had my liberty, I would do my liking.
When Richard lands his airplane, he meets Don. He talks with Don for several moments and, despite noticing some unusual quirks about Don, does not think that Don is too out-of the ordinary. Then he notices that Don’s plane is immaculate. It does not have any dirt or oil or any other evidence that it has been flown before. When Richard asks Don about this, Don tells him that there are things that Richard does not know. Later in the story, however, Richard learns more about Don and why he seems to be mysterious.
In the play ‘Much ado about nothing’, Don John is a puppet whose strings are pulled by various characters and the society in which he lives. Although he does monkey businesses like every character in the play, he is the one who gets harshly judged and punished for it. His villainy is not an innate trait but rather, he chooses it to distinguish him from others.
The music is non-digetic, as you cannot see the source (where it is coming from). The director plays this.
When being an illegitimate child like Don John, one begins to think of themselves the way people treat them. Therefore, when Don John acts in his villainous ways, one blame it on Don John or rather the people who made him feel that he is less than human. Don John believes that his only way to be acknowledged is to act in a way no one will forget, therefore he acts as the villain in Much Ado About Nothing, because that what society made him out to be.
Don Jose career was lost by his love to Carmen because he let Carmen escape from jail. By doing so he got punished and entered jail himself. One detail is “As punishment for helping her to escape. Don Jose goes to military jail…” He sends his time in military jail and not as a solder guarding prisoners in jail. Carmen ruined Don’s career and dreams forever, and wasted time from his life and his career. But after all that happened Don fell in love with her. Another detail is “…and passes each moment thinking only of Carmen.” He fell in deep love with her. Carmen doomed his career but Don fell in love with her anyway.
In the version directed by Kenneth Branagh, Don Pedro ends up entirely alone. Leonato leaves with
John Don spent the whole play trying to get revenge. He said he would “rather be a cranker in a hedge than a rose in his grace” (I.3.25-26). Throughout the story he is seeking vengeance. He still tries this even though his brother has shown compassion towards him and has accepted him once again. He wants his freedom even though he has some.
Mulan is one of my favorite Disney movies. I know the movie from start to finish and have watched it plenty of times. One of my favorite scenes from this movie is the scene where General Li Shang begins to train his men for war. Everyone from this scene starts off as the weakest link then becomes strong and capable of going to fight for their country. The music in this scene is called “I’ll Make A Man Out of You.” Donny Osmond vocally sings the song of this scene, accompanied by other characters from Mulan. The genre is pop.
Bollywood cinema encompasses a variety of genres. It’s superior ability to create a connection between all strata’s of viewers gives us a reason to explore the hidden representations in Bollywood cinema. Not long after India regained its independence, a new era of Indian Cinema began. This era put forth heart wrenching movies, filled with patriotic messages and a very clean concept of national progress. The main concept of the nation-state was integrated in almost every Hindi cinema that was created ever since. Nationalism meant protecting the accrual of wealth within the nation, countries like India were going through a phase of protectionism. However, a significant problem arose, within India, the nation consisted of diverse culture and many languages, so creating the homogeneity that was needed to drive this concept of nation-state, would just fall through the cracks, unless some kinds of unification methods weren’t evolved.
Bollywood has always represented the mood of India. The movie goers of India often say, if you want to see how India is feeling, just randomly pick up a few movies and you will get a taste of India. The “Muslim male”, often misrepresented and thus misunderstood, is an interesting character in relation to the industry because it portrays the ever changing face of the nation since the independence of the country. As India has grown and transformed into an independent nation, so has the character and portrayal of the Muslim male characters throughout the industry; some may argue for the worst and others may claim neutrality. Often in movies we will see them portrayed as “threats of some kind; terrorists, sexual predators, traitors or abnormal in some way, departing from the cherished values of the nation (Hirji, 59).” Meanwhile, The Hindu male is a secular figure, who presents as a level headed male, in control of himself and his destiny and respectful to other religious traditions, ((((((((((((((especially Muslims.))))))))))))))))
Bollywood movies are very popular for the “Romance” portrayed in their plot. Romance in Bollywood has evolved throughout the ages. But the one thing, that has remained constant are the unofficial and official ban on any depiction that may suggest something which is not a part of the “Indian” culture. Westernization was always shown as something negative and alien. Let’s have a closer look at how Hindi cinema deals with this censorship code that has been set up. Bollywood adopted a new way to recreate the same passion that usually a ‘kiss’ would generate; they substitute these by song and dance routines.
