Caren Campano was a 42 year old woman working a decent job, and married to a man 15 years younger than her. Chris, her husband, was a drug addict that did not have steady income. The night she disappeared they had a large argument, and according to Chris, they both left the house in separate directions to cool off. She left on foot, and he left in the truck to a bar. The next morning he called her job asking if she was at work and they said she never showed up. He called and made a missing person’s report. The investigators went to their house and stated the house was in good condition, and did not look like she left. There was no signs of a fight. However, they found a large brown stain that was still wet next to the bed. When they tested it, it was positive for blood, and when they pulled the carpet back, there was an even larger blood stain on the cushioning under the

It was also allegedly said that Jodi had stolen her grandparents’ .25 caliber pistol around the time their home was broken into (Mclaughlin par. 13). Ironically enough, “In a recording played for the jury, Mesa, Ariz., Detective Esteban Flores, tells Arias: “The gun that was stolen, a .25 auto, just happens to be the same caliber used to kill him.”” (Breuer par.6). That fact in itself should make Jodi the number one suspect since she was living with her grandparents at the time that the caliber was stolen.
He ran for a back ally across the street. Michael remembered Oliver telling him that he collected Blue prints from different buildings in the world. Michael remembered seeing a blue print of the World trade center that included the parking garage under it. So Michael decided to prove to Brooke once and for all that his hunch about the Langs was true. The next morning Michael called into work explaining he was sick and wasn’t coming in. He waited in the house until he could the Langs leave. He had studied them and noticed that every day they would leave around 7:30am and Mrs. Lang wouldn’t return until 10:00am. Michael popped open the window that led to their garage and climbed in he took pictures of everything he could find. While upstairs in Oliver’s office, Michael heard a car pull up. Oliver got out of the car and headed in. Once in the house Oliver notice the mail on the counter had been shifted over but he didn’t seem too suspicious. Oliver grabbed what he needed and headed out the door. As soon as he closed the front door he noticed the side window at the garage was propped open. Oliver looked concern and climbed in his car and raced out of the drive way. Michael feeling lucky climbed out of the window and
On the evening of Friday, February 1, 2002, Danielle van Dam's mother Brenda Van Dam and two girlfriends went out on a girl’s night out. Danielle's father Damon stayed at home to look after Danielle and her two brothers. Her father put Danielle to bed around 10:30 p.m., and he said she fell asleep. At that time her father (Damon) went to bed and said he slept until his wife returned home around 2:00 a.m. When Brenda returned home with four of her friends, she and her husband Damon talked for approximately thirty minutes and then her friends went home. However, Brenda did notice a light on the home’s security alarm system was flashing, and discovered that the side door to the garage was open but apparently thought nothing of it and they both went to bed assuming their daughter was asleep in her room. About an hour later, Damon awoke and noticed that an alarm light was flashing. He found the sliding glass door leading to the back yard open, so he closed it and he also thought nothing of it. The next morning, Danielle was not in her room and they searched for her and when they figured she was not in the house they called the police at 9:39 in the morning.
I waked past the box truck and observed the female front seat passenger's t-shirt pulled half down. I further observed both of her breast and nipples exposed. Both windows were rolled
While Alicia is grabbing the shells from the Tran house she notices a pair of feet from behind a door. She gets frightened and runs out of the house. As she is maneuvering the maze back to her home she runs into Susan Tran who grabs her by the hair. She escapes but Susan grabs her again when she is trying to make her way over the fence. Luckily, Chris was there to help her over, but she panics and hits in the face as she tries to escape.
The sheriff had never tried to reach Michael to notify him of Christine’s death, and once he arrived, their conversation at the kitchen table began with Boutwell’s reading Michael his Miranda rights. His opinion of Michael was informed by the note left in the bathroom for Christine, which established that Michael had been angry with her in the hours leading up to her murder. Boutwell had read it shortly after arriving at the house. Michael’s lack of emotion at the news of her death did not help to dispel the sheriff’s suspicion that the murder had been a domestic affair. Odd details about the crime scene only reinforced his hunch. There were no indications of a break-in, a fact that Boutwell would repeat to the media in the weeks to come. (Though it was true that there were no signs of forced entry, the sliding-glass door in the dining area was unlocked.) Robbery did not appear to have been the motive for the crime; Christine’s purse was missing, but her engagement ring and wedding band were lying in plain sight on the nightstand. Other valuables, like a camera with a telephoto lens, had also gone
