No matter where you work or for how long you may work, at some point in your working career you may have stumbled upon or heard about an employee code of conduct. This article “Does This Company Have This Document”, highlighted the key points of having and complying to the Code of Conduct. Employee codes of conducts are a generally a set of general rules and or guidelines that recapitulate social norms, responsibilities, and proper practices for an individual party or organization. To make it easier to understand, they are the “do’s and don’ts” regarding the appropriate behavior an employee should follow. By having these rules set in place make the work environment better for not only the organization, but for the employees. Making decisions is an extremely important part in a day-to-day commitment. Having employers and employees work together through good communication, achieving a common purpose, and working as a whole and not individually is how a business or corporation can prosper. The welfare of the people in America is put in the hands of the public administrators and political leaders of the United States. These public administrators and political leaders are voted into office to promote new bills and come up with solutions that will be in the best interest of the public’s welfare. When the subject of welfare is debated the first thought that comes to mind is giving underprivileged and disadvantaged people money to help them get out of a financial predicament and/or temporary unemployment. The welfare of the middle and upper class is not as common because the fact that people collect financial support from their employment. There are several biased assumptions about the welfare program in America that leave the subject open for discussion. After a deep outside investigation, the company was summoned with thousands of dollars to remedy the payment that was supposed to be paid to all employees who worked more than forty hours per week.
