Cursive writing does matter Some may say that cursive writing is unnecessary and should not be taught, but if you do some research then you will find how important cursive can actually be. In my opinion cursive writing should still be taught all around the country. First reason why I think this type of writing should still be taught is because students will write more and have a second writing option. Also it will be a doctor, nurse book writer basically anything they will need to know cursive. Read on to find more interesting facts about cursive. Scientists have discovered that when people write in cursive it helps both sides of their brains communicate with each over. And yes, teacher may say that it’s complicated for kids and unnecessary. But this type of writing really helps your kids or students be a better leaner. I knew how to write in cursive ever since I was in second grade my teachers and parents saw a different in my grades for first to second grade. Lastly, you are going to need cursive as you grow up. My brother is in eight grade and he does not have a clue on how to write cursive. He has been applying for jobs and when they ask for his signature, he didn’t know what to do! I was extremely disappointed in him. What I’m saying is that if anyone ever wants to be a lawyer or doctor or even a dentist when they grow older then you will have some troubles. All those talented people have to write forms, sign important documents and prescribe medicine etc. If everybody knew cursive everything would be much easier to understand and comprehend. In conclusion, cursive writing should still be a standard curriculum in writing for all elementary schools. Remember that cursive will increase student’s grads and help them write more. It will also help your brain function better. And lastly get you a better job. Therefore cursive is important and should be still
