Children learn every single day about different issues in their lives. Although everyday some are not taught the right thing to do. Instead some children learn how to discriminate against other cultures. This potential discrimination can be prevented by teaching culture diversity. The best place children can learn this ideal is through church, so How can we teach culture diversity to children in church?
To begin with, I started off my research with by searching how church can influence culture. If church culture can change there is a more diverse culture in the church. I chose to study this article since most children in church go to sunday school to study their religion. Through the next article Jamie Dunlop explains how a sunday school course had changed his church’s culture. Dunlop explains that a sunday school “a tool for changing a church’s culture”(Dunlop). Dunlop then explains the steps on how to use sunday school to change a church's culture. This article relates to my topic due to the fact that methods to teach people could translate from adults to children.
