Its 1 and only theme park ( at the time ) was called “Magic Kingdom”.
With Disney World being in Flordia they faced many challenges with most of the land being swamp land. Since they would not be able to dig to far underground they decided to make tunnels under Magic Kingdom known as the utilidoors. What many people do not relieze is that these tunnles are not actually underground they are at ground level. The park was built on the second story. So while you are in the park you are on the second floor. Magic Kingdom was the only park to be like

The wanted to make something similar to a zoo but they didn’t want to give guest just another expeirence of a zoo. They wanted to take it too the next level. So in 1988 they did just that. It house a 3D theater that gives guest the experience of being a bug. Animal Kingdom is home to none other than...Animals. This park is a endangered species reservation. It would be very hard to not have heard about Disney because he has released so many different kinds of animations, but during the 1950’s Disney began to become less involved in the animation department, entrusting most of its operations to his main animators, the Nine Old Men, although he was always at story meetings. Instead, he started concentrating on other things. On a business trip to Chicago in the late 1940s, Disney drew sketches of his ideas for an amusement park where he envisioned his employees spending time with their children. These ideas developed into a concept for a larger enterprise which was to become Disneyland. Disney spent five years of his life developing Disneyland and created a new company, called WED Enterprises, to carry out the planning and production of the park. In March 1952 Walt Disney got permission to build Disneyland. Construction work started in July 1954, and opened in July 1955; the opening ceremony was broadcast on ABC, which reached 70 million viewers. The park was designed as a series of themed lands, linked by the central Main Street, U.S.A a replica of the main street in his hometown of

Disney World is famous for its exhilarating rides, fairy-tale performances, and the adolescent environment that can make you disregard the element that you are an adult. However, Disney World is also recognized for its beautiful, unique architect. From Magic Kingdom’s most well known icon the Cinderella Castle, to another famous emblem of Epcot’s, which is an eighteen-story golf ball-like geodesic sphere. Although those icons are beautiful and legendary I feel that people tend to forget the magnificent Animal Kingdoms Tree of Life. Animal kingdom is one of Disney’s parks that is devoted to animal care, education, and research all for the animals. The icon for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Tree of Life symbolizes exactly what the park is all about.
The idealistic childhood memory every child thinks back to is their first trip to Disney World, “The Happiest Place on Earth, “according to Walt Disney. The ideal place where everything is magical and fairytales do exist. Disney World has become America’s most popular attraction since 1923. Whether it’s through one of Disney’s theme park, 227 radio stations, six motion studio pictures, three cruise lines, or its theatrical production companies, Disney Corporations culture monopoly has gone unnoticed by Americans. Americans are indulged by Disney’s childhood fantasies with the image every princess has a prince, and will live happily ever after in a magic kingdom. Although it all seems innocent Disney’s Corporation has America indulged with its theme parks, merchandise, films, and cruise lines.
According to the website dreamsunlimitedtravel accessed on November 16 2015, “The park opened with 5 original parks. Those parks are Main Street U.S.A, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.” The idea for Main Street, U.S.A is derived from a typical Midwest town of the early 20th century. It’s suppose to reflect the Victorian era with a train station, emporium, double-decker buses, and horse-drawn streetcars. Adventureland is designed to recreate the feel of an exotic tropical place in a far-off region of the world. Frontierland recreates the setting of pioneer days along the American frontier. And finally, the Fantasyland was originally styled in a medieval European fairground fashion, but its 1983 refurbishment turned it into a Bavarian village. There have been 3 new parks added to Disneyland since opening day. These new parks include New Orleans square, Critter Country, and Mickey's Toontown. New Orleans Square is based on 19th-century New Orleans, opened on July 24, 1966. Critter Country opened in 1972 and formerly was the area home to Indian Village, where indigenous tribespeople demonstrated their dances and other customs. Mickey's Toontown opened in 1993 and was partly inspired by the fictional Los Angeles suburb of Toontown in the Touchstone Pictures' 1988 release Who Framed Roger
Sparked Walt Disney World in Florida in 1971, Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan in 1983, Euro Disney in Paris in 1992, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in 2005 and finally Shanghai Disneyland Resort, which is opening in June 2016 (Dehrer). Walt Disney hosted the opening of Disneyland in June 17, 1955 even with all the chaos he managed to give one last sliver of hope to those yet to experience the magic of it all “ To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.” (Bryman
Walt Disney has brought two theme parks to life because of his imagination. He never stopped chasing his dreams, even if they seemed impossible. Walt Disney World came after Disneyland and it is located in Florida. Disney World is known to be the "most magical place on earth" and the place "where dreams come true". Many people haven't been to the park, so they might be skeptical of the "magic" that is held within. Walt Disney World is the "most magical place on earth" because of the rides, characters, shows, the electrical parade, Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, and the infinitely growing attractions.
Disney World is an educational wonderland. Disney World was founded October 1, 1971 by Roy O. Disney and Walt Disney. It wasn’t even thought of until four years after the first park Disneyland was opened in Anaheim, California. Walt Disney productions began looking for land for a second park and eventually found the perfect spot. Disney World is an entertainment complex in Orlando, Florida with four distinctly themed amusement parks, two water parks, and over ten resorts. According to Disney’s millions of guest, it is the master of “edu-tainment,” a way of entertaining and educating guest at the same time. Disney has a large selection of ways to “edu-tain” its guest. Its history, science, and animal exhibits are just a few ways children will learn while having fun. A Disney vacation teaches children new information and reinforces what children are currently learning in school. Disney world has many educational opportunities at its three parks, Magic kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot.

He called these two amusement parks Disneyland, Anaheim and Disney World, Florida Walt did this because he knew that these two amusement parks would make him well known and nobody would ever forget who this brilliant man is. Construction was completed and the park opened in 1955 and by that time Disney Productions was a financial success. People were so anxious to be the first ones in Disneyland that when only 15,000 tickets were sold for opening day 33,000 people showed up, half of them had counterfeit tickets. Certainly, Walt Disney was a man of vision. A man who had the creativity to develop ideas and then have the patience and perseverance to carry them out.
The first theme park opening in 1955 was Disneyland in California. After one full year of construction demands and a total investment of $17 million the Six thousands invitations to the grand opening had been mailed inviting people to experience the magic Disney had created but when the gates opened the Disneyland was far from magical. Workmen were still planting trees, the paint was still wet and the asphalt wasn’t set. The food stalls and restaurants ran out of food due to the high number of people because of counterfeit tickets being sold. Walt Disney didn’t know didn’t know what was going on because his attention was on the live broadcast. The rides broke down shortly after use. When Walt Disney World opened in 1971 the
