This tactic of using the ever changing weather means that no matter where you are you can capture some amazing holiday photos. Interesting weather aspects can be things such as rain storms, heavy winds, sunsets or crystal clear skies. Also, try to incorporate broken clouds, overcast days and partial sun, as they can turn a regularly photographed area into one with a highly unique perspective because often these weather types are shy-ed away from.
2. Use People to Help Demonstrate Scale Scale is more important then you think. It helps to give viewers a better perspective of how big or small your subject is. Often when on holiday we become infuriated by the many people littering our photos but in fact they can be of more use to you then you might originally think. They can help to demonstrate the size of your subject in relation to the universally comparable size of a normal human.
If you have friends and family with you use them. Instead of having your friends and family simply stand in front of a landmark, rather boringly, try posing them in more interesting formations. You could have them stand right in the middle of a curious scene or put them beside a huge object to show its sense of

When we think of Christmas weather, “snow” comes to mind. From making snow angels, building snowmen, throwing snowballs, and catching snowflakes on our tongues, we anticipate living in every single moment of this Winter Wonderland. However, at any time, this perfect depiction of a Winter Wonderland could unravel unexpectedly to becoming a Winter Disaster, known as a snow blizzard. In accordance to the National Weather Service that the LIVESCIENCE website quotes of, a blizzard is a “storm with considerable falling or blowing snow and winds in excess of 35 mph and visibilities of less than ¼ mile for at least 3 hours.” The Great Blizzard of 1888 overshadowed New York City to become a city that was fully covered in snow ruins as it took its toll
Furthermore, weather is conditions that occurred very recently or are currently happening at a particular location. For example, people might say, “The sky is really clearing up!” or maybe, “It snowed 6 inches last night.” The current temperature, dew-point, relative humidity, cloud cover, and precipitation all have to do with the weather. The fundamental cause of weather is the effect of the Sun and the Earth due to the fact that

The isle of Barbados is quite famous and remains jam-packed from the month of December to April when its prime festivals take place and people take their winter holidays to enjoy the sunny beaches and marvellous parties all night. A couple of years ago during one of those, on a whim after spending a few days in Arches National Park, my wife and I detoured to the snowy, icy south rim of the Grand Canyon. We journeyed toward it from the east side but got turned back at the National Parks’ gate; the road was snowed under from there on up. After retracing our steps, we traveled down to Flagstaff and spent the night, driving in my four by four truck up to the South Rim the next day. It was an eerie experience to stand on the edge of the South Rim and see only cloud; fog shrouded the canyon’s great gap, leaving us with visual doubts that anything was really there. Defeated, we hit the Visitor’s Center and gathered information so we could go back sometime in the spring or fall with weather more to our liking.
Back in the days of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, weather observations were recorded daily but not hourly or by the minute. Such repetition of data didn’t seem useful. After the telegraph was invented which enabled information about weather data to be transmitted across the country, they still reported only once a day. In contrast to today's virtual world of weather, making 24/7 use of climate data from satellites, buoys in the oceans, the ability to record worldwide temperatures, worldwide rainfall records, track wind speeds, pressure pulses of solar wind, carbon dioxide levels, tornadoes and hurricanes...etc (Harris, 2012).
When going for a walk, a person takes in the beauty around them. On this particular day, the refulgent sun is extra bright, making the sky a perfect blue. White, puffy clouds fill the sky, slowing moving at their own pace. The wind is peacefully calm, making the trees stand tall and proud. There is no humidity in the air. As this person walks down the road, they see a deer with her two fawns. The moment is absolutely beautiful. Moments like this happen only once in a great while, making us wanting to stay in the particular moment forever. Unfortunately, time moves on, but only if there were some way to capture the day’s magnificence. Thanks to Joseph Niépce, we can now capture these moments and others that take our breath away. The invention of the camera and its many makeovers has changed the art of photography.
I am quite interested in the topic of street photography; one of the biggest reasons is because in most cases street photography is very real. Street photography is all candid images, they are not posed, they are not set up; but they are real, they are in the moment and most of the time the artists are so stealthy about the way that they capture the photographs that no one really ever knows that they are even taking the photographs. There are a few photographers that are very important to street photography that I would like to talk about; Robert Frank, Lee Friedlander, Diane Arbus and Winogrand. These are photographers really created what people might consider to be the face of street photography, you can think of street photography without thinking of one of their works. Personally, I am very fascinated with street photography. I believe it to be very beautiful. In my opinion street photography seems to be a lot similar to photojournalism, in the way that both of the photography styles are extremely, I do not know if I would use the word ‘candid’, I am not sure if that would be exactly the right way of putting it, however maybe the right word would be more like, well a phrase really, both of the photography styles of both photojournalism and street photography are really quite in the moment, they are not set up, instead of making the shot perfect, finding the camera angles and waiting for just the right moment to make that image wonderful and amazing.
Photojournalism plays a critical role in the way we capture and understand the reality of a particular moment in time. As a way of documenting history, the ability to create meaning through images contributes to a transparent media through exacting the truth of a moment. By capturing the surreal world and presenting it in a narrative that is relatable to its audience, allows the image to create a fair and accurate representation of reality.

When the term seasons come to mind, most people think of the four major weather seasons; summer, fall, winter, and spring. But, within these four, there are far more interesting seasons to notice and associate with that specific time of year. For example, the first part of the year tends to yield many blushing brides vowing to a lifelong commitment and friendship with their groom and therefore is considered wedding season. Similar seasons are wound throughout the year such as football season, engagement season, and swimsuit season, but the most wonderful time of the year is by far the holiday season. For many reasons, the holiday season, the time ranging from Thanksgiving to New Years, brings a feeling of togetherness and joy that simply is
Throughout someone’s life they will go to many places with their family, friends, another relatives. I have been on a few vacations that have made a lasting impact on my life. But one of the most memorable vacations I have experienced was with my cousins. I went to goa beach. Most of you probably don’t know about that beach but it is a very famous one in south India. I enjoyed myself to the fullest. The beach environment was enlightening. I would not have wanted to take this trip with anyone other than my cousins. We had a great time on the ocean sands and swimming in the ocean everyday made this vacation unforgettable.
Holidays are a celebration and an enjoyment of festivities. Although they are a commonality across the world, holidays differ between countries and cultures. But, what many do not realize is that holidays are ultimately ideology driven, that is that the group that celebrates these holidays follows a certain set of ideas and beliefs. Whether the ideology is religion based, or politically based, all holidays are centered around ideologies.
