Success… What does it really mean to you? Does it mean having a thousand dollar Gucci handbag, expensive luxury car, rare and limited shoes to over price clothing? What makes someone successful in life? Bragging about how much money they have in their bank account to purchasing very expensive toys does that show you’re successful? Or is successful someone accomplishing their life goal they’ve worked so hard for? Or people who have spend countless hours studying to become a doctor? Or does it mean someone who build a company from the ground up? What does success really mean to you?
To me, success is not how much money you have your bank account or how many expensive things you have. To me success it means a goal you set up and you accomplish in life. Success isn’t about I’m richer than you or I have more expensive things then you can afford. It’s all about did I reach my life goal or not. Did I do what I wanted to do in life before I die? Those are what I define as success but this can have a different meaning for other people.

It can also mean life goal between two partners. It can also mean that people that have too much money and just spend it on plain and stupid item like a $1000 titanium iPhone case that is just overkill. Or even a new bag you just bought for your girlfriend. But with all the money you spend this doesn’t prove you are successful in life at all. People spend their money to be flashy and look rich but that at all mean doesn't prove you are successful in life. But people got to understand money doesn’t prove you are successful this can also mean there is another side of you. From drug dealer to someone who over tax the people to keep the money for
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
Success is not earning a fat juicy check at the end of each month, or being a part of a large social group filled with fraudulent people that appear as familiar faces. But it is a person discovering him or herself after they had been lost and establishing a sense of purpose that makes them fills them with a warm glowing sense of accomplishment. Success does not have one transparent definition, it has various meanings depending on what success means to the individual trying to achieve it. Success is surviving.
Over thousands of years people have been driven by success, but what is success? Success to me is the ability to perform at your highest level in the path in life that you take. I believe that if you are not driven to be the very best at the things you do then it is not a calling. There are plenty of opportunities in life and you should take everyone you get. Success is a word that is on a broad spectrum, there is no single definition to the word. I define what success is for me. There is no set image of success, success is also constantly changing. The word success means achieving what I want to do in life, and to prosper in the situations my life has put me in.
What defines success? Have you ever wondered what does it take to become successful? After reading and researching through many resources, I have concluded that success is defined as being able to achieve your goals and what you aim for. In other words success is being able to accomplish what you aim for through extreme hard work and dedication. Not everybody has the ability and skills to become successful in life. It really takes a person with courage and will to reach out and work hard enough for what they want.
When someone asks me how I define success I think of people. Enjoying what they do, not afraid of failing , and accomplishing their goals are qualities I look for in people. Not just making money defines someone as successful, but if someone can make good money and accomplish their goals then that would be perfect. Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson, and Jimmy Butler are people I think of when someone mentions success because they make good money and love what they do.
Success is defined as the accomplishment of an aim or purpose and/or the attainment of popularity or profit.
To many people success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. But what it really means is more than just that; is having a beautiful and amazing family of two boys and one girl, and have the best wife. Also, success means reaching my goals or dreams, like starting my new manufactory and insurance business and keep working hard because in order to reach things I must be ready to fall and rise up. But like I said, to obtain where I want to be; I’ll first need to finish college having my Bachelor in Accounting and start from zero.
Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of ones life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by social status and wealth; for others success is determined only by the amount of happiness one feels.
What is success? According to the dictionary, it is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, but theres much more to the word than just this simple phrase. As Eric Thomas—the American motivational speaker, author, and minister—once said “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful”. The idea of what success can bring, has motivated people throughout history to take risks and follow their dreams, no matter what the consequence is. Although achieving a long term goal or accomplishing an idea can be great, sometimes a person can lose themselves or hurt others around them during the process.
Successful is a simple word, however, the meaning of this word changes quite often. Each person has a different definition of success and that definition can change depending on the situation. Bob Dylan once wrote, “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” This a very broad definition of success and should not be used. The definition of success should be “the pursued goals have been adequately accomplished.”
To most of us, they say they can spot success at first glance. Generally by the car one drives or how one is dressed. Some might see it by how healthy or how happy one feels. Merriam Webster's Dictionary states that success is “the fact of getting wealth, respect, or fame.” If one where to adopt this definition of success, one might go on to living a life of materialism. This mindset is deceitful and will only reward you with short term happiness, like a drug addict searching for a quick fix. For one to be ultimately successful, one must be able to overcome hardships and possess qualities like integrity, pride and patience which no amount of money in the world could buy. These qualities will make anyone strive in most, if not all the difficult obstacles one must face in life.
The true definition of success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Although, many people have different perceptions of success. Success is judged by the individuals themselves. Success can be defined in many ways including: wealth, happiness, fame, etc. Success can be anything from material goods to concepts. It all depends on your concept and how you achieve your goals. You have to have persistence within yourself. Varying on your profession, you will need a certain skill level. Your definition of success can be suitable best for you, but not for others. It is about truly not giving up, reaching your full potential, and self-fulfillment.
Meaning of success has become confusing. We live in the world that tells us that it is important to be rich rather than be happy. We all know examples of people who are famous and rich, but are very unhappy. For example comedian Dave Chappelle had his own TV show and became a famous and a rich person. Yet underneath he was very unhappy; He was so unhappy that he had to stop his show because he had a nervous breakdown from the pressure of being
Success, by definition, it means to achieve a goal or purpose. To some, success might be popularity, or even getting a raise at their job; but to me, success is more about how you live. At first this statement might confuse a person, but then if one digs deeper into this response they’ll find something greater. This “something greater” is certainly not anything materialistic, rather someone’s spiritual faith and their happiness in what they do.
Success is something we all wish to achieve and even though we have different definitions of success, we all want to success in different aspects of our lives. For some success, success is attaining an education, others it's getting a good job, for others it's being wealthy, and others to start and own a business while for others it's having a family of our own and seeing our children prosper. We all have different metrics of measuring success and we all have different goals, but it is part of human instinct to want success, to want to succeed in everything we do no matter how small or big. Success gives us a feeling of development and growth, a sense of gratification that we are no longer where we used to be, but rather
