Success only happens if one works hard and stays on task. My definition of success is someone who overcomes hardships. First, success can be many different definitions. However, my definition is someone who overcomes a hardship and earns success from it eventually. One can be as strong as hulk when they overcome that heart wrenching hardship, and another can be as powerful as the sun when they get success from overcoming something very harsh and tough. However, some force to get up and earn and education, or get up to get money to make it every day. Instead of staying at home on bed, they work hard and long to make it in life. For example, one is going to college all night to just get a degree to live, which is what I think success is. In addition, one works all week to just get a straight a grade, maybe even B’s too. Furthermore, the ones who work, get an education, force to wake in the morning is my definition of success. The American college dictionary defines success as 1. The favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors, 2. The gaining of wealth, possessions, or the like. This has been the general seances for the past hundred years or more. But in more modern days the prospective of success has changed slightly. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. I did not fully understand what success meant until I was old enough to see it through my parents. Both of my parents came from Mexico and risked their lives to start a better life for my siblings and I. They went through all kinds of struggles and obstacles that they had to overcome due to living in the United States. Instead of thinking so negatively about the struggles they thought positively because they knew that all the hard work would help my siblings and me at the end, and it did.
