Success, a word so commonly used. Success is always associated with money and fame, but what does it really mean? Success is simply an effect. It comes from hard work and effort. Success can come from something as little as getting an A on a quiz to graduating from college. Success comes from many different levels. I think one can be successful in many ways. The First was to be successful is that one must be able to see Success out of many situations. If one never sees success and are never able to point it out then that person will never truly feel successful. Secondly one must work hard and not just expect results. Finally one must be determined. The first way to succeed is to success. Success is everywhere around me and has been …show more content…
Determination, a great quality to have, no matter what age you are. It drives you to do things and creates a passion that cannot be given. However, once you lose determination it is very hard to get back. This makes it harder and harder to succeed in anything that you do. For example, I play soccer. It is one of my favorite things to do. I thrive on the success that comes from the games I play in. It drives me through the days where I want to give up and not train for four- five hours. If I were to stop though it would be very hard for me to start again, simply because I do not have success on my side pushing me through it and telling me that it will pay off in the end. This can happen to anyone with anything. From academics to athletics. In order to be successful one really must be determined. They must know to stick with it so that they can feel the amazing feeling that is success. In conclusion, to be successful first one must see success, Secondly one must not expect immediate results, and finally one must be determined. Success comes hand in hand with passion, effort, and work ethic. If someone really wants to do something, nothing will get in their way. They will soon be rewarded with the prize of success and that is a pretty amazing
Generally speaking, success isn’t just about what you accomplish in life, it’s how you accomplished it and the impact you
I agree with Gladwell that hard work can lead to success. Too often we think success happens because someone has money or gets lucky. This is wrong. Success takes hard work, imagination, and motivation. “Success is not a random act. It arises out of a predictable and powerful set of circumstances and opportunities.” (Gladwell 52) If you assert yourself and use your mind and imagination, you can create those
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
My philosophy of success, is me growing into the person I want to become and being comfortable with the choices I decide to make in life. Success is not something I can achieve overnight, it’s something I must plan for then proceed to working hard for it as well. Without hard work, there isn’t anything successful about the job I want to get done or the job I wish to get done. Doing anything without hard work and dedication, and expecting the best outcome is not success; it’s mediocrity. Being mediocre/ will only allow me or anyone else to have a ‘Victim’s Mindset.’
´´ If one advances confident in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. ’’ These words were spoken by Henry David Thoreau.Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of one´s life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and achieve all of their dreams. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. It does not matter how related they are to each other in certain áreas they always have a different point of view of what success really is. For some success is measured by social status and wealth
Hard work and dedication can lead you to success anytime. As my dad was young he would be working on the farm in India and his older cousin would tease him when planes flew by. My dad had a goal that he wanted to lift the poverty in his family, which he managed to do. Now whenever we go back to my uncles my dad teases him about the planes. He was dedicated and persistent, he knew his goal and went to achieve it. He has now lifted the poverty and the whole family is now fairly wealthy. Successful people are rarely just lucky; they put effort into their work. Many people say being persistent is key to success. Persistence is something that helps you hold onto those dreams. You refuse to get discourages even when you see other people not being able to succeed at their goals. Knowing that you can achieve your goals and trying for those goals is key. Also, having somewhat realistic goals is important as well. Most of our goals are judged by society; most of the time we seek their approval before doing
Throughout our lives we all experience a variety of things that help us define what success means to us. Some people look at success in a materialistic sense, while others take a more spiritual approach. Regardless of the way we view success or the factors that influence that view, we each have our own very unique Personal Philosophy on the subject. Personally, my philosophy is that the implementation of success strategies is key to achieving what one chooses to define as success. I have found that the three most effective success strategies I can use for years to come are being a critical thinker, improving concentration, and being an active listener. All three of these strategies are very practical and relevant to both my educational and professional pursuits, and therefore have proven to be the most effective in regards to my Personal Philosophy of Success.
Success does not always mean coming in first place. Success simply means getting the job well done, maybe with the help of a few extra people. For example, the first time a person bakes a cake, it doesn’t turn out the way they wanted it to. The more that person practices, the more improved they’ll be. The person bakes their cake again and this time it turns out better than their first attempt.
Success is within the mind of the individual. A large portion of ones life is spent working to become successful. People are told throughout childhood to work hard so they can grow up and make lots of money. But success takes many different forms. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by social status and wealth; for others success is determined only by the amount of happiness one feels.
Successful is a simple word, however, the meaning of this word changes quite often. Each person has a different definition of success and that definition can change depending on the situation. Bob Dylan once wrote, “A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.” This a very broad definition of success and should not be used. The definition of success should be “the pursued goals have been adequately accomplished.”
Success only truly comes with being happy. Happiness and success are the accomplices of one another. Someone cannot have accompanies without the other. Happiness brings success, and success brings even more happiness. Success, in the dictionary, is defined as the achievement of something desired planned or attempted. Therefore, success cannot be judged by anyone than oneself. It is a personal thing. It is the realization of goals, desires or plans made by one 's self. It is not measurable and yet is something we always use to compare others or appraise someone 's worth. Success, in one form or another, is something that someone should always be striving for. For some people it is something they will do subconsciously, and for others it will be something they will constantly labor for. Because success is something that is different for everyone, it is best that they measure their personal success by their sense of self worth instead of others. To have succeeded is to have lived, as someone wanted; ' it is to have lived well and laughed
