DATIVE DATING
Quick Introduction to covalent bonding
A covalent bond is a chemical bond formed between two atoms that shares one pair of electrons. The atoms are maintained together since the pair of electrons is attracted to both atoms’ nuclei. In this covalent bond there are two types of covalent bonding. They are single covalent bond and double covalent bond. A single covalent bond is a covalent bond that involves the sharing of one pair of electrons between two atoms. On the other hand, a double covalent bond is a covalent bond that involves the sharing of two pairs of electrons. An example of atom involving in double covalent bond is an oxygen molecule.
Introduction to dative bonding
Dative bonding, also widely known as coordinate bonding, is a type of covalent bond that is formed between two atoms where the shared pair of electrons is donated by only one of the atoms. So in simpler words, it means that one of the two atoms bonded together contributes all of the shared electrons. Dative bonding occur when one atom doesn’t have a full outer shell, also known as the acceptor atom, while the other has a full outer shell as well as at least one unshared electron pair, also known as the donor atom. The condition for the formation of dative bonding is that the donor atom should have lone of pair electrons meaning it should be an electron rich species. On the other hand, the acceptor atom must have the ability of holding that pair of electrons, in other words, it should be an electron deficient species. Most polyatomic cations and anions contain covalent and coordinate covalent bonds.

Complex in here means it is a molecular existence formed by two or more element entities (ionic or neutral), or the correlated chemical type. In simpler words, it means that it is a substance that is composed by two or more substances each that can be able to exist independently.

Characteristics of dative bond
A dative bond’s characteristics are almost identical to the characteristic of the covalent bond. They have low melting point and boiling point. They also do not conduct electricity in liquid or in dissolved state. They are more soluble in non-aqueous solvents.

Throughout the second half of this semester, dual relationships have been emphasized as one of the most frequently encountered ethical dilemmas faced by behavior analysts in the field today. According to the class lectures, assigned text, and other articles that we have read, this is due to the fact that we interact with our clients and those caring for them in their natural settings. As a result, those we provide services to, and interact with, are in the places in which they feel the most comfortable, their homes or regular classrooms. This is in stark contrast to a formal office setting, which projects an atmosphere with both expected standards of acceptable behavior, and clear boundaries between client and the service provider. In an effort
Trying to define codependency can be very difficult. It is not an exact or definitive state; rather, it's more of a general description for a variety of behaviors. Put simply, codependency is an addiction to love, where one person in a relationship is devoted and completely invested to a point where it negatively affects his or her emotional and physical well-being.
Substance disorders affects all social, educational, cultural, and age groups. Substance abuse research often focusses on the abuser and the family as a whole but not how it affects their spouse. United States misuse is linked to approximately 590,000 deaths and is responsible for injury or illness to almost 40 million individuals every year. (Cox, R., Ketner, J. & Blow, A. 2013). The consequences resulted from this disorder, are not only related to the substance abusers, but also have a great influence on their behavior and other layers of their life, especially their wives (Salehyan, Bigdeli, & Hashemian 2011). When the husband or boyfriend has an addiction the wife takes on responsibilities of her spouse which causes an increase in stress. Marriage is generally described as a protective factor against substance use. The concept of codependency was developed to explain what happens to the spouse of a substance abuser.
What is a bond? Bonds are often considered by investors to be “financial IOU's.” Frequently, bonds are issued from banks designed for quick, upfront cash used in lending purposes, such as loans. When purchasing a bond, the buyer pays an upfront sum of money to the seller. By the terms and conditions...
Yes, the type of bond does determine the volatility of a substance. Volatility is measure of how much a substance vaporizes into the air. Compound B, (covalent bond) was more volatile, rating a 4 on the volatility scale of 0-4, 4 being the highest and 0 being the lowest. Compound A (ionic) on the other hand, rated a 2. The reason that compound B was more volatile is because ionic bonds consist of a strong positive and a negative charge which prevent them from breaking apart, and vaporizing into. Covalent bonds are weaker because they have to share electrons between multiple atoms, and often just cloud around each other. This means that covalent bonds can be more
A bond is a "security" which gives the holder a financial claim on the issuer. This claim protects the holder in circumstances in which the issuer is unable to pay the amount due. It is made formal by the "trust indenture", a legal document, which specifies all of the bond's features and the legal rights and obligations of all the parties to the agreement (http://www.finpipe.com/bndchar.htm).
What is codependency? Codependency, a term that comes up quite frequently in conversation about relationships, marriage and divorce, is sometimes glossed over. The actual definition goes something like this: an excessive reliance on a partner – either emotional or psychological. In many cases the partner being “relied” on may require support due to an illness, addiction or other chronic issue. If you have been through a divorce and your close friends, your family, your therapist or even your ex has suggested that you are codependent, consider the possibility.
According to (Biesen) , In a complexometric titration a coordination covalent bond is formed via the ability of most metal ions to receive unshared pairs of electrons from a anion or molecule. Furthermore, a ligand: which is a molecule that contain a lone pair of electrons and can therefore form a bond with a complex ion or metal ion. Therefore a ligand determines the metal ion concentration. [2] Therefore according to (Hussain, 2007), the maximum amount of ligands that can take part in a titration are known as Werner’s Number and allow for complex formation.[13]
From these properties of bonds we will see that there are two fundamental types of bonds--covalent and ionic. Covalent bonding represents a situation of about equal sharing of the electrons between nuclei in the bond. Covalent bonds are formed between atoms of approximately equal electronegativity. Because each atom has near equal pull for the electrons in the bond, the electrons are not completely transferred from one atom to another. When the difference in electronegativity between the two atoms in a bond is large, the more electronegative atom can strip an electron off of the less electronegative one to form a negatively charged anion and a positively charged cation. The two ions are held together in an ionic bond because the oppositely charged ions attract each other as described by Coulomb's Law.
However, it is a bond that sold at discount below par. Thus, it is providing compensation to the bondholder in the form of capital appreciation. A zero coupon bond is a bond that makes single payment at its maturity. Examples for zero coupon bonds include Malaysian Treasury Bills (MTB).
There are many people who do not understand what bonds really are. A bond is an agreement
Dual or multiple role relationships occur when therapists or other mental health professionals take on two or more roles at the same time with their clients or with someone who has a relationship with their clients. Ethical Standard 3.05 (Multiple Relationships) states the following: (a) A multiple relationship occurs when a psychologist is in a professional role with a person and (1) at the same time is in another role with the same person, (2) at the same time is in a relationship with a person closely associated with or related to the person with whom they have the professional relationship, or (3) promises to enter into another relationship in the future with the person or a person associated with or related to the person (APA, 2002,
Prior to the relationship building assignments, I had never written a professional thank you note to a professor or place of business. I had a pen pal throughout middle school and also wrote notes to teachers that I had built a relationship with in high school, but neither were to the same degree of professionalism as I learned to utilize in this course. My notes mainly focused on updates of how I was, how my family was, and maybe a few questions to cap off the note.
“Relationships are what make up our world today, they shape the ways we see things and the way that we do things, relationships affect how we see the world today”. I believe supporting what your partner does, having a great sum of trust and showing your affections towards your partner is what will make a healthy relationship great.
The idea and development of relationships was always very black and white for me. I had always seen all relationships such as friendships, partnerships, and family relationships, falling under one category. I have recently learned this is not the case at all. There are actually many different components that make up a relationship and as well different categories for different relationships. Robert Sternberg created a model of love called the triangular model of relationships that encompasses the various elements that are necessary for any relationship and as well the different classifications of relationships (Brannon, 2011). In his model, there are three components that make up the triangle.
