Daniel Hardman: 32 years old. He is very courageous, strong and fearless but also bossy and impatient. He is in the army and loves to fight for his nation. He wants people to remember him as a brave soldier who would always stand to fight back even in difficult situations.He wants to spend more time with his wife and son but he can’t as for him his duty comes first. He and his family live in Toronto, but he has to go to different places due to his postings. Sofia Hardman: 30 years old. Wife of Daniel Hardman.She is a very bold, lovable and patient but also too practical,preserved and little harsh female.She believes in giving back to society and wants her family to contribute as much as they can to their nation. Son of Daniel and Sofia Hardman. He is innocent, sweet, stubborn, curious, messy and smart little chap. He loves his family and misses his father when he is in his mission.He is not so well aware of what it's like to fight for your nation but thinks his father as a hero who fights the villains to protect his country. Major David Harmon: 45 years old. He is a Major in the canadian army. Well polished, concerned and gallant while authoritative, strict and aloof.He misses his family who died in a car accident. He aspires to protect his nation till his last breath.He has a home in Toronto and he lives there alone. Shawn Brooks:31 years old. A friend of Daniel Hardman.Also in the canadian army.Understanding, confident and friendly in nature while emotional and not so courageous like Daniel. He loves his wife and 6 years old daughter but feels guilty of not spending enough time with his wife and daughter due to his missions. He too lives in Toronto. SCENE 1 DESCRIPTION BY THE NARRATOR: The scene takes place during September 1980 outside Daniel Hardman’s house in Toronto. Where his wife is almost about to cry while she gives him his backpack. Daniel is leaving to fight in against the terrorists.He bids them goodbye and sits in the jeep next to his friend Shawn Brooks.They leave for their campus. Daniel and Shawn have a small conversation regarding if they would ever be able to see the faces of their family mates
