The speaker of this argument is Dan Ariely, a behavioral economist. He argues the point that people cheat in small amounts rather than large. He brings up valid points that most people cheat only in small amounts because they will not feel as morally wrong for doing so. Also, he suggests that most people cheat or lie to make a situation better than it would be if they did not. The problems with his view on the subject are that people cheat because they are greedy, ignorant to a certain subject, and people cheat to just to cheat.
Greed is a huge human flaw that makes people cheat and people are vulnerable to greed. To start, people make them want more then what they already have. Most people will lie, steal, and cheat to get anything they want because of greed. For example, some fill a rush when they cheat on a test. This can be explained from the tension of knowing it is wrong, but still doing it because of the chances of getting caught. This applies only to some people who like the feeling of doing things that are not right. Then, cheating is seemed to be fun to people from the media and their parent. This is a common occurrence because people see something and want to do the same as they see. That is a part of human nature and is seen as a crime, but still gets committed. To finish, there are many sick minded people who only want to cheat and see it as sport. This is the cause for many people around the world because someone is always going to like something that is seen as wrong and will do it to make a scene.
