Customers are very important because they bring business and without them an employee wouldn’t get paid at all. Making ice-cream at dairy queen is quite simple. To make a blizzard you need to know what size of blizzard a customer wants and then fill up the ice-cream in a cup, put a collar on top of the cup, put the required candy in a cup for the blizzard, put the ice-cream cup all the way up in the blizzard machine and turn on the machine and that will mix the candy with the ice-cream. The manager will provide notecards to learn the ingredients for the blizzards. After you are done doing that then take out the collar and put it back in the water; serve the blizzard upside down to the customers. To make a cone at dairy queen you need a cone, depending on the customer what size he or she wants and put the three swirls on the cone; then twist the ice-cream on top to make a ring on top of the ice-cream cone. To make a sundae you need the sundae cup and put the three swirls of ice-cream; after put the topping that the customer order. To make a hot dessert you need to put the required brownie, cookie or apple tart in the oven and set it for the require item and wait until it’s done. After then take out the item in a banana split container and put it on one side, and on the other side put the ice cream. After that put cocoa fudge on the top of ice-cream and you are ready to serve the delicious dessert to the

You can’t call out on the day you are supposed to work because if you do the manager will cut down your hours. You are also supposed to dress properly at the same time. The required uniform is khaki pants with the dairy queen shirt, your hair tied up, and a visor at all times. You also need to know the menu because it will make your life ten times easier. An employee is required to know how to work drive thru. Working drive thru is very easy because you need to know how to work the register and the menu at the same time. It’s good to know how to fil up candies; you have to get a clean container and then empty the bag out in the new container, and wash the old container with soap. Finally, working at Dairy Queen is fun. Even though customers are rude, but apologizing to the customer makes them feel better and he or she might lose their attitude. Working at Dairy Queen is pleasurable because I met some of my good friends and we have become a family. When entering a restaurant, I usually expect to leave full, satisfied, and wanting to come back again. I believe that many people expect the same thing. The way people react to service can be very different from person to person. Depending on the way the customers are feeling, or the way that the server is feeling can be a big factor for the way service comes across. Service is an important part of everyone’s lives because majority of the jobs that people preform are service related. Poor service is an unfortunate part of life that everyone comes across. The way that I react to the poor service I receive is important and can change in the blink of an eye. Whether I react in an outspoken way, by getting loud and voicing my opinion. Or if I react in a quiet or apologetic way, it can affect my server, and the people around me, and myself.
