When consumers want to by product, they comes to their mind a particular product. Due to the strong competition between companies, they focus most of their efforts on how to attract consumers. The first way that companies use to make attention for their products is to introduce products by advertising. Advertising is an aspect of the marketing process. According to Oxford Dictionary, advertising means "the activity or profession of producing advertisements for commercial products or services". While this general definition is useful, advertising need to be more specific and catchy to be easy to remember. Advertising does not always influence consumers’ behavior or increases sales revenues for many particular reasons, namely, the elaboration of the advertisements, artistic value while implementing creative advertisements, and originality of the advertisements.
One of the definition for advertising is the method that increase the product`s sales. Advertisers rely on TV commercials that consider one of the important ways to sell their product. Commercial advertisements help the product to be successful if use creative advertisements. Creativity in advertising is ability to find unique methods to present advertisement. According to Reinartz and Saffert (2013), in the article “ Creativity in Advertising: When It Works and When It Doesn`t,” they explain that creativity is “ Divergent thinking—namely, the ability to find unusual and nonobvious solutions to a problem” (p.106). They define the meaning of creative advertisements and argue that not all creative advertisements that emerge would influence buying behavior and sales revenues. In conclusion, advertising is one of the most significant dynamics of the selling process around the world. Creative advertisements do not always impact consumer performance or increase sales revenues. Companies should take three dimensions of creativity on advertising to influence people`s behavior: elaborate plans of the advertisements, add artistic value, and keep originality of the advertisements. According to the dimensions above, using these dimensions would help to create effective advertisements to assist companies in achieving their goals and increase their profits. Although there are some criticisms on advertisements that they do not attain the definition of advertisement, they are one of the important ways that businesses use to achieve their first goal which is to augment their profits by introducing their products and services.

It does not only try to inform people about the availability and attractiveness of industrial good productions but also contribute to build an awareness of resources and alternatives for customer in daily life. There are thousands of commercials, so to attract customer, advertisers use various kinds on their commercial to make people aware of the firm's products, services or brands. Though they use various kinds on the commercial, the main goal of advertising tries to convince customer to buy their products, or do what they want. An excellent commercial will create a deep impression on their customers, or who want to become their customers by using three classical appeals: pathos, ethos and logos.

We live in a world where we are surrounded by advertising everyday. We see them in magazines, on television, websites, and billboards. If someone wants to get your attention for their product, there is many ways to get you to see their advertisement. However, they have to be creative in ways to get your attention or else you’ll just pass it off as another boring ad. This report analyses a 60-second American online video advertisement for the Hyundai Car finder ' First Date ' advertisement in 2016. According to USA Today, this advertisement made a Super Bowl commercials in 2016. (Woodyard, USA TODAY 2016). The report contains a description of the advertisement, an evaluation of creativity, predictions about consumer responses and a recommendation for the agency. Creativity is assessed by examining two Divergence Measure dimensions in the Creativity in Advertising Model developed by Smith, Yang, Bucholz and Darley (2007). Consumer responses to the creativity of the ad are predicted by using two stages from the Hierarchy of Effects Model by Smith, Chen & Yang(2008). Hyundai, one of the important vehicle manufacturers in the South Korea, employs about 75,000 people and has access to 193 countries through 5,000 dealerships. (Hyundai 2015)
Although advertisements seem so simple, the actual process and thought behind them is much more complex than one would think. A group of peers and I set out to create an advertisement for our own original product. Although there were hundreds of steps taken before our final product was finished, the process can be broken up into three main steps. These include conceptualization, design, and delivery. Brain storming, target audience, primary emotion, and deciding on a product are all included in the first step of conceptualization.
