No School Lunch and Uniforms
It was a sunny day with very few clouds in the sky when Hannah a 13 year old girl with long brown hair was walking to the community office with her friend Caleb to check the bulletin board. Caleb is also 13 years old, and doesn't like to follow any rules. Hannah and Caleb are neighbors, and they live in a gated community far away from any town. In their community they have one preschool, one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school, only for kids that live in their community. To go to any stores or restaurants they must drive two miles to get to the nearest town, but you're only allowed to leave unless you have a special card from the main counselor Vicky saying that they

Hannah read what was on the bulletin board and was in shock.
"Ages 10-13 must wear uniforms and must buy lunch everyday at school, it's already bad enough having to stay in this community and not being allowed to explore what lies beyond this stupid community!"
"Calm down Hannah it can be that bad."
"Really the food is practically plastic and the uniforms are plaid and baggy, and you know I hate

When Hannah bit into her ham and cheese sandwich she found a piece of plastic in her mouth, and refused to eat the rest. Calebs pants were really baggy so he looked like he was one of those gang members. To make Hannah's day even worse, after school her baggy skirt fell down in front of everyone in the library, she was so embarrassed, especially since she was wearing her hello kitty underwear.
When Hannah got home she talked to her mom about her worst day at school ever. She also talked to her mom about starting a trial at the community court house. She talked about starting a trial against the new rules, about having to wear the new uniforms and buying the lunch. She told her mom that if they can't change that then they should let kids choose what school they want to go to even if it's outside of their community.
"PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MOM, I hate wearing these clothes and the food at school is horrible."
"Fine honey I will call the community court house and try to get us a spot in."
"Thank you so much, your the best mom in the world."
Hannah went over to Caleb's house and knocked on the door a loud as she could, she couldn't wait to him the amazing
2) Hannah tells stories of her “other” life in which she attends school and looks forward to the weekends. As Chaya, her new friends are again shocked by the fact that she-a girl-attends school. Hannah explains that he...
At first, Hannah was a pesty, teenage girl who didn’t care about her family or religion. After undergoing a harsh journey, Hannah soon began to change her attitude. She now understands her family and her heritage better. As Hannah’s mind shifts, the theme is developed. Hannah understands how the events in a person’s life can impact the person they are today. In addition, she learned that it is important to remember our history. Those who do not remember the past are destined to repeat
That same night, I walked by Hannah’s cell and I saw her staring down at a newspaper clip out of a young teenager shaking hands with another man. I recognized that the boy was the man who visited today. Could he be Hannah’s son? If he is, then why hadn’t he visit her all this time? Hannah brushed her fingers across the books on her shelf, and took out a sheet of paper and started writing in it. This time, her eyes turned grey and they were empty, but free.
Miss Desjardin, still incensed over the locker room incident and ashamed at her initial disgust with Carrie, wants all the girls who made fun of Carrie suspended and banned from attending the school prom, but the principal instead punishes the girls by giving them several detentions. When Chris, after an altercation with Miss Desjardin, refuses to appear for the detention, she is suspended and barred from the prom and tries to get her fat...
Parents and their children are constantly arguing about the way students dress in school. This debate has become a national conversation which has been going on for more than a decade. However, there still hasn’t been a final resolution. The questions “Why do I have to wear the uniform today?” or “Can I wear this t-shirt because the color matches with my school t-shirt?” have become part of our everyday lives. Before we go any further, we have to understand the difference between uniforms and dress codes. A uniform is simply a garment worn that is the same in all cases and at all times. Whereas, a dress code is a set of rules regarding the required manner of clothing in a certain context. For instance, a school might not allow students to wear
Hannah and her husband bicker offset during a filming break, discussing their son missing school—the argument devolves as Hannah's husband becomes angry, wanting her to just get through so they can be paid. As their argument escalates, Hannah accuses David of being drunk; he fires back saying she has broken from her antidepressant regimen. They return to filming and the cameramen tell Hannah she is coming across as uninterested—they try another take and the camera zooms in on Hannah's once again empty
Spencer, Chloe. “What’s the point of School Uniform?” The Guardian. Guardian News and Media Limited, 03 Oct. 2013. Web. 19 Feb. 2014.
Imagine having to wake up and put on the same thing you wore the day before and the day before that! Schools uniforms are becoming more common in today’s society. I think that school uniforms have more negative effects than positive. Even if you push a child to wear something that they are not comfortable in they will begin to act out. I believe that public school should not require uniforms. Uniforms take away our ability to self-express. School uniforms should not be required in public schools because of the student’s self-image, their safety, and high cost of uniforms that parents have to purchase every year.
