“ I can’t believe people nowadays” Willy moaned after watching a young child give a homeless man spare change near the door to his apartment. The 72 year old man adjusted his wire glasses as he fidgeted with the key to lock the door before going to his usual miserable job. Stepping down the crumbly old stairs, glaring at the man, Willy felt no sympathy for him. “ Do you have any spare change you could offer?” croaked the homeless man in a direction toward Willy. Stunned, Willy could not even fathom this man asking for his hard earned money. The old man’s forehead wrinkled as he snapped “No, maybe you should try finding a job and stop taking from others (Speech)” the words spewed out of his mouth faster than a bullet leaves a gun (Metaphor). …show more content…

” Willy was dumbfounded once he realized he had wrongfully judged the man of being lazy when in fact he should have been given more. Willy was by now was running late for work. Trying to dig through his pocket, Willy was feeling different objects like tissues, pocket watch, and other random little things. Unfortunately he needed to get to work and just didn’t have enough time to stay and help the man. So just like that Willy was off stepping away rushed from the homeless man regretting not being able to help
