A myth is a traditional story explaining a part of history or a natural or social phenomenon. A creation myth is a symbolic narrative on how the world came to be and how people at first may thought of it as. The structure of a creation myth is usually about the birth of something; how something started. It relates to why things happen and the way they happen and how it relates to nature. It’s usual characters are gods, human beings, mythical creatures, etc. The structure of a creation myth, it usually starts with the action and reaction to the conflict, then the conflict is being resolved, then the results are shown. At the end you would figure out how it relates to nature or reality. The whole purpose of this is to show how something is like in nature and why a certain thing happens. The function of a myth is to explain natural phenomena. As we are young, we are ambiguous. Every single day, we see the sun, moon, sky, stars, etc and it just leaves us with such curiosity of how things are the way they are. It starts of with how god made a man named moon, but living in the world made him lonely. So god brought him morningstar. After making love with her, she gave birth to the grass, plants, trees etc. The trees grew and reached the sky which made it rain for the first time. After two years, morningstar went back to heaven. Moon became lonely again so god brought him eveningstar. After making love with her, she gave birth to goats, antelopes, birds then eventually boys and girls. I think this creation myth symbolizes how from two parts of nature can increase the population comparing man and woman and how they can make kids which is increasing the nation's
