The 2nd match for our 3rd Anniversary Show on June 26th will be a rematch from Battle Lines, only this time the stakes are much higher literally. Considering this is our 3rd Anniversary, we thought instead of 1 Ladder match. Why not have 2? :) The Hunter Brothers Astonishingly, The Hunter Brothers haven’t lost a tag team match in Kamikaze Pro since October 2014. They are almost 2 years undefeated as a tag team and will have been tag team champions for 476 days by the time of this show. In that time period the only 2 times The Hunters have been on the losing end have been in 6 man tags, both of which happened to be against The Bigger Picture. The Hunters have had their fair share of controversy against the group, at Frost Fight 3 against Ryan Smile & Damian Dunne, they escaped with their Tag Team Titles via a Disqualification. Then at Battle Lines, Marshall X choked out Jim Hunter but with the referee down there was no one to call for the bell. The Bigger Picture have made a habit of stealing the Tag Team Titles so we are going to force them to put them 15 foot above the ring and let the 2 teams battle it out to see who the real Tag Team Champions should be. The Bigger Picture …show more content…
‘The Badman’ Marshall X & ‘Number One’ Damian Dunne will be looking to add the Tag Team Titles to make it a clean sweep for The Bigger Picture. The combination of Marshall X & Damian Dunne teamed together for the 1st time at Battle Lines. They seemingly worked as a cohesive unit and at one point during the match Marshall had choked out Jim Hunter with a Rear Naked Choke, with the referee down, the match continued and The Hunters came out of it with the win. Marshall post-match attacked the Hunter with the Tag Team Titles and then him & Damian Dunne held them aloft. Both Marshall & Damian were insistent they beat The Hunter Brothers fair & square and if it wasn’t for the referee they would officially be tag team
Since the painting focuses on depth, the picture is read near to far, starting with the obvious painstaking details in the foreground, and ending with the massive background.
Foremost, we need to examine the hunter from his psychological progression from his past. In the story, his views are often overshadowed by the narrater or by our learned emotion to see the story as a picture. He states that he has emotional baggage from a previous relationship (Houston, MLM, 805) and tries to explain how much she hurt him. That would bring any of us to a point of building a sort of emotional wall. From this the narrorater begins to build a sort of case against him with her friends instead of looking and progressing him past that point of rejection from his past girlfriend.
Having such an image before our eyes, often we fail to recognize the message it is trying to display from a certain point of view. Through Clark’s statement, it is evident that a photograph holds a graphic message, which mirrors the representation of our way of thinking with the world sights, which therefore engages other
This essay will examine my thoughts and those of David Sterrit on the critically acclaimed television show The Honeymooners. First, I will talk about the Honeymooners and it’s setting in postwar America. Secondly, the social and cultural issues the series portrayed. Next, would be the psychological perspective and the aesthetics of the show. Finally, the essay would conclude with my thoughts on how the Honeymooners were impacted by these aspects, but also how the show managed to leave a legacy in television today.
People tend to views an image based on how society say it should be they tend to interpret the image on those assumption, but never their own assumptions. Susan Bordo and John Berger writes’ an argumentative essay in relation to how viewing images have an effect on the way we interpret images. Moreover, these arguments come into union to show what society plants into our minds acts itself out when viewing pictures. Both Susan Bordo and John Berger shows that based on assumptions this is what causes us to perceive an image in a certain way. Learning assumption plays into our everyday lives and both authors bring them into reality.
The third chapter is an overview of the theories and perspectives of the authors. The main points that are discussed in this section include Horton's articulation of the importance of having a broad vision of where you are going (p.
We adopt a larger view of the world and its inhabitants, by realizing that there is much, much more than what meets the eye.
view is a lot less intimate since it allows us to look at the big picture in a more detached
Many people in the world get into an almost unbreakable routine, shielding themselves from the real world. We wake up, brush our teeth, go to school with the same people, go home, and do it all over again. Once there is a roadblock in the way, it forces us to step outside our shell and look at others views for a change. American mythologist, writer, and lecturer,Joseph Campbell once said,”We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.” It is the act of noticing others words and actions that will reshape our lives for the better. In “Secret Samantha” and “Sol Painting, Inc.” the authors suggest that observing someone else’s perspective and taking the time to understand others can be mankind's greatest
My chosen methodology for analysis is semiology, Rose (2001) argues semiology confronts the problem of how images make meanings directly. It is not simply descriptive, as compositional interpretation does not appear to be, nor does it rely on quantitative estimations of significance, as content analysis at some level has to. Instead, semiology offers a wide range of analytical tools for depicting an image apart and tracing how it works in relation to broader systems of meaning. A semiological analysis entails the implementation of highly refined set of concepts, which construct detailed accounts of the particular ways the meanings of an image are produced through that image.
Chapter 11 of Peter Senge's book, The Fifth Discipline, talks about the idea of Shared Vision, and how this concept has transformed organizations, and individuals working for them, into a cohesive unit of long-term innovative achievement.
...ry graphic insight, but it helps us to see our past mistakes, to make for a better future.
We are all about the world. More often than not, we rarely take time to see the beauty of this creative tension emerging from differences and oppositions. Perhaps if we do, we will consciously work towards the full.
The tournament started on October 30 and stretched to November 13 where the team of Bestia Salvaje and Scorpio Jr. defeated El Satánico and Dr. Wagner Jr. to become the tenth over all tag team champions.[2][14]
As technology advances, more and more images spread throughout the world quicker than ever before. A single search on Google presents millions of pictures at our fingertips. However, these easily accessible images do not enhance our understanding of the world. Rather, they limit our understanding while fooling us into thinking we are learning. Images “makes us feel like the world is more available than it really is.”
