There were several conspiracies about the planes that attacked the Twin Towers. One of the planes left Boston's Logan Airport at 7:59 a.m. The hijackers zoomed the plane into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 a.m. The other plane left Logan Airport at 8:14 a.m. The hijackers flew the plane into the South Tower of the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m. America had stated that 10 planes were suppose to be hijacked on that day. “Providing new details on the planning of the plot, the commission staff said that al-Qaida planner Khalid Shaihk Mohammed initially proposed a Sept. 11 attack involving 10 planes that would be used to attack CIA and FBI headquarters, unidentified nuclear plants and tall buildings in California and Washington state,” (Brunker). Both planes that flew into the Twin Towers were Boeing 767. The plane was 159 feet long. Another thing that seemed odd was that 9,700 gallons when it should usually have nothing less than 14,000 gallons. The engine was found on Murray Street when it should have been right around the Tower. Things were said about the plane being like a missile since the engine was dropped so far from the Towers. According to German TV footage, the planes front nozzle was caught on fire before going through the building. Conspiracy theories state that there were three things attached to the plan that were likely to explode. After the plane went into the building the plan some how exploded making it look like a missile went into the building or some how it was some sort of bomb. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA, drew out the plane and the way the plane was flown into the Towers and it did not seem right. The plane propellers of the Boeing 757 were smaller than the hole it actuall...

...thin minutes and took the film.” There was barely any debris from the plane. The government stated that all the planes that were hijacked were the same. The engine of the plane that was found at the scene of the Pentagon attack didn't have the same engine as the other planes, with that being said, it could have been a smaller plane since it was a smaller building. There were no aircraft wreckage, wings, tails, luggage, seats, and bodies. The plane that appears to be flown into the Pentagon was said to be Flight 77 especially from the size of it. Flight 77 can be remote-controlled whether with or without guidance. The transponders for all of the planes were turned off. The way the plane made its exit was a perfect circle but that circle didn't match the plane that the American government claimed it to be. The Pentagon also seemed to be rigged with explosives as well.
On September 11, 2001, the Islamic extremist group, al-Qaeda hijacked four american airlines. “Two of the airlines crashed into the world trade center in New York The third plane crashed into the Pentagon outside the world trade center, and the fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania” (9/11 Attacks). They called it a suicide attack against United States, but there are conspiracy theories the the terrorist are still alive. That they stole
They searched through the rubbish and raced in time to check the buildings before and after the buildings collapsed. There were clouds of smoke, dust, and debris flying through the streets blinding the bystanders. Hundreds of servicemen died that day, including military personnel in the Pentagon who were also hit by the hijackers. I had a cousin named Johnnie Doctor Jr. who was in the Navy. He was killed in the Pentagon.
On September 11, 2001 four passenger commercial jet airliners were hijacked and as a result approximately 3,000 human lives were lost. When asked about 9/11, many can recall exactly what they were doing when they heard the news that a plane crashed into one of the World Trade Center (WTC) buildings and many Americans can tell you how it all unfolded and the reason behind such a travesty. The “official story” provided by officials, and restated by Sofia Shafquat, producer of “9/11 Mysteries: Demolitions” say that “four passenger planes were hijacked and taken radically off course, within an hour, two of the planes had flown into the enormous steel towers of the World Trade Center, creating fires and eventually toppling them” (Shafquat). Soon the American public believed that the impact of the planes and that the fires had gotten so hot from burning jet fuel, that they caused the steel frames of the buildings to give way and implode, falling to the ground into dust (Shafquat). Internal fires take on the responsibility of the official story, though others believe controlled demolition is to blame. Some evidence that debates these two explanations of how the steel towers fell are: the way the buildings collapsed, the properties of steel, and the evidence of molten metal.
Such as, did inside traders know about attacks before the event even occurred, Why did the world's most powerful air force fail to intercept any of the four hijacked planes, Why did the Twin Towers collapse so quickly and a good question is why was the crash site at Shanksville, Pennsylvania so small and why was the aircraft debris not visible. Many of these conspiracies got most of the world thinking about the tragic event that occurred on september 11, 2001 and if it was an event that was made up by the government to set up the terrorist and their
On the morning of September 11/2001, 19 terrorist working for the Al Qaeda terrorist organization hijacked four commercial planes. They attempted to fly them into multiple U.S targets. One of the planes, American Airlines, flight 11, crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center at 8:50 a.m. Another plane, United Airlines, flight 175, crashed into the south tower at 9:04 a.m. These tragedies took the lives of nearly 3000 people and affected the lives of millions.
One theory is that the Twin Towers were destroyed by controlled demolition. Another idea of what happened is that planes did hit the towers, but they were remote controlled. A third theory is that Al Qaeda is not responsible for the September 11 attacks (The Top September 11 Conspiracy Theories, n.d.). And last, but certainly not least, is the theory that the 9-11 attacks were a false flag operation. When considering these theories, there are many different controversial areas that should be assessed to differentiate between fact and opinion.
The attacks that occurred on 9/11 took place on September 11th, 2001. In this devastating event, four different attacks had taken place. Each of the attacks were carried out by terrorists. The group responsible for the attack was Al-Qaeda, a militant Islamist organization that is known to be global in present day. The group itself has a network consisting of a Sunni Muslim movement that aims to make global Jihad happen. Furthermore, a stateless, multinational army that is ready to move at any given time. This terrorist group focuses on attacking non-Sunni Muslims, those who are not Muslim, and individuals who the group deems to be kafir. Ever since the late 1980s, Al-Qaeda has been wreaking havoc all around the world. The leader of the group once being Osama bin Laden. Three planes were bound for New York City while another plane headed towards Washington, D.C. which was supposed to take out the U.S. Capitol. Two of the airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center. One plane hitting the North Tower and the other hitting the South Tower. The third plane had crashed into the Pentagon taking out the western side of the building. The last and final plane was focused solely on taking out the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. but failed due to passengers of the plane coming hijacking it from the hijackers. The passengers attempted to take out the hijackers but sadly failed, crashing it into a field in Pennsylvania. Throughout the content of this paper, we will be focusing on the role of media when it comes to 9/11; more specifically: how the media's coverage of 9/11 manipulated our feelings towards 9/11, how it affected Islamophobia in America, and the lasting effects of 9/11.
Another theory is that the pilot, Jason Dahl might have purposefully crashed the plane to prevent the hijackers from taking it over. Or perhaps that Dahl had cut off the planes fuel with out the hijackers being aware. It was said that the plane looked like it went straight down; and that the plane had almost completely disintegrated on impact leaving a hole several feet deep.
At 13,700 feet in the air the first initial explosion happen in the center fuel tank; the nose of the airplane sheared off, the plane started to plument toward the ocean (Jansen 4). Investigators say the initial explosion was the center fuel tank which lead to light coming from the back of the airplane which was probably mistaken to be a missile (Hosenball 1). Joseph Koll who participated in the investigation said “ It’s very clear to me that it was a center fuel explosion not a hostile act” (Jansen 4). It is very clear that theorist believe the 250 witnesses but, what the witnesses might not know is that the explosion was an optical illusion in their eyes. “In the center fuel tank there was soot and fire damage, the kinds of things you don't expect in a major explosion”(Cole 33). With these facts “Over four years of NTSB investigation they indicated that the cause was likely caused be a short circuit, which ablaze flammable fuel/ air vapors in the center fuel tank” (Smith 806).These evidences can all challenge each other, but the main point is that the FBI and NTSB can link more evidence to an explosion in the center fuel tank than a missile. After years of investigation, the NTSB officially blamed the center fuel tank as the explosion, but was still trying to figure out how it exploded (Cole 36). Most of the investigators of the FBI and NTSB are supporting the
I read about it in the paper, in the subway, on my way to work. It was on a Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Both of the Twin Towers in New York had been struck down by two airplanes with passengers inside. Civilians, including me, were filled with panic and suspicion as they wondered if their country was under a terrorist attack. Everyone else in the subway was no stranger to the crisis going on this exact second since they all had their heads buried in their newspaper. I reread every line on the article carefully, trying to make sure that none of this was a hoax in anyway.
Tragic Accidents occur all over the world and for most them a conspiracy theory is created but major ones that exist are 9/11 and the most recent Sandy Hook shooting. Many people died in 9/11 and it was a day most people will never forget. North America aerospace defense command ordered a stand down order on that day (Ashayana 1-2). People say that whenever 9/11 fell it looked like an act of demolition more than an act of terrorism (Ashayana 2). If that is true that means there would have to have been bombs on the inside of the building already placed. Another big thing that’s said in this theory is that this attack gave the government an excuse they needed to go to war. A lot of other people say that planes could not have been so catastrophic to have caused the building to collapse going back to the bombs already placed inside the building theory. Another factor in this 9/11 theor...
9/11 was one of the darkest days in America, but some say the government could have been part of these attacks. For many years people have debated about the 9/11 cover up. This theory cannot explain why the government would do this. Once people understand why the 9/11 cover up is fake, they will begin to see the answer to their problem, could the government have done this? This conspiracy theory is wrong because, terrorists admitted to the attacks, so many people died, and there's no evidence against the government.
9:37 a.m. Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon. The man responsible for flying flight 77 into the Pentagon was Hani Hanjour. He supposedly made a sharp 330-degree turn, almost completely going in circles around the Pentagon, being only inches from the ground, and crashed into the most deserted part of the Pentagon, the western side that has almost no one in it, instead of just flying straight, which would’ve led him directly into the office of the Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. Interviews conducted later with Hanjour’s flight instructor reveal that Hanjour wasn’t the best pilot, stating that he was “below average” and even going as far as saying he was a “terrible pilot”. According to his instructor, Hanjour had trouble controlling just
Prior to the 9/11 attack there were a few terrible events that were considered weapons of mass destruction attacks. In 1993, there was the World Trade Center bombing by Muslim terrorist. The Tokyo subway attack that was carried out by the Aum Shinnkyo cult group. What was unique about them is that they made their own sarin gas and prior to the subway attack they actually carried out an earlier attack using the same chemical. The Oklahoma City attack was carried out by an extremist named Timothy McVeigh (home grown terrorist) he killed 169 people and wounded hundreds more. I would like to think that the previous events plus other attacks that have happen around the world started the different agencies and political leaders thinking
Since the beginning of settled civilizations, people have had more mutual sharings than ever before. By the same token, there have been some conspiracy theories that are usually against the culturally accepted beliefs of religions, science and society. A conspiracy theory can be described so differently. However, as in his text, Marshall Brain explicates, a conspiracy is generally defined as a theory seeking to explain a disputed case or matter as a plot by a secret group or alliance rather than an individual or isolated act (Brain). Especially, after the new media has become quite popular, more and more conspiracies are theorized every single day, which aim to catch society’s attention via such media tools as the internet, journals and newspapers. Thus, people who theorize those conspiracies tend to use such objects as spiritual and mysterious ones in order to interest people. To illustrate, many examples can be given. For instance, many people have claimed that they were abducted by aliens, although they could show no evidences. Here, a citation from Blackmore could facilitate to understand the circumstance better. She states that people occasionally claim that they have been abducted from public places by aliens, in this case that may provide them with witnesses and affirmations but no evidence could be shown so far (Blackmore). As it is well known, only a small number of people believe such alien abductions, however, rating of this kind of news is quite high on media, because humankind has been wondering if there are extraterrestrial creatures out of the earth. Another example can be conspiracy theories which are about the origins of religions such as the rejection of Jesus Christ. There are some people who pay attention to...
