9/11 was one of the darkest days in America, but some say the government could have been part of these attacks. For many years people have debated about the 9/11 cover up. This theory cannot explain why the government would do this. Once people understand why the 9/11 cover up is fake, they will begin to see the answer to their problem, could the government have done this? This conspiracy theory is wrong because, terrorists admitted to the attacks, so many people died, and there's no evidence against the government. First, Osama Bin Laden, a dangerous terrorist claims that he caused the attacks to happen(Time). Some people could say, that the government could have paid him to admit to the attacks, but I say no because, it doesn't sound like anything the government would do, if it was the government I think they would own it. In a video released to the public, it shows him, and he admits to the attacks. If a terrorist admits to these attacks, why would the government have done this. The terrorists …show more content…
even admitted to considering crashing into a nuclear power plant, but decided against it because they thought it might get out of hand(Time). Could you really see the government working with terrorists, and thinking about blowing up a nuclear power plant. The government is against terrorists, hunting them down, and making sure they're gone(Want to Know the Truth). The government would not work with some crazy people. Second, there is no evidence against the government. The investigators investigated the government, the scene, and everything that they thought could lead them to who had done this(Fast Facts). If these investigators found all this stuff and none of it pointed towards the government, then it was obviously somebody else. All the evidence that they found pointed towards the terrorists, and Osama Bin Laden(Fast Facts). After all of the investigations all of it pointed at the terrorists, and that means that they probably crashed into the towers. Lastly, the terrorists admitted to crashing the planes(Fast Facts). The terrorists were the ones who did it because they've got evidence against them and a confession. Lastly, the government would not kill thousands of people.
3,000 people were killed in the attacks(CNET). The government would not plot to kill 3,000 people on their own country. The world trade center was the largest loss of life from a foreign attack(CNET). That is what terrorists do, target busy places to try and kill as many people as possible, not something the government does. Out of the 3,000 victims, 1200 have yet to be identified(CNN). When the bombings were occurring, they weren't just hurting the victims, they were also hurting friends, kids, family, parents, that is something that terrorists would want to do. In conclusion, the government was not part of the 9/11 attacks because, terrorists admitted to it, nobody has found evidence against the government, and 3,000 people were killed, the government would not do any of those things. Something you could do about this issue is telling people who believe that the U.S government did this, that they are

On September 11, 2001, the Islamic extremist group, al-Qaeda hijacked four american airlines. “Two of the airlines crashed into the world trade center in New York The third plane crashed into the Pentagon outside the world trade center, and the fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania” (9/11 Attacks). They called it a suicide attack against United States, but there are conspiracy theories the the terrorist are still alive. That they stole
There were several conspiracies about the planes that attacked the Twin Towers. One of the planes left Boston's Logan Airport at 7:59 a.m. The hijackers zoomed the plane into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 a.m. The other plane left Logan Airport at 8:14 a.m. The hijackers flew the plane into the South Tower of the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m. America had stated that 10 planes were suppose to be hijacked on that day. “Providing new details on the planning of the plot, the commission staff said that al-Qaida planner Khalid Shaihk Mohammed initially proposed a Sept. 11 attack involving 10 planes that would be used to attack CIA and FBI headquarters, unidentified nuclear plants and tall buildings in California and Washington state,” (Brunker). Both planes that flew into the Twin Towers were Boeing 767. The plane was 159 feet long. Another thing that seemed odd was that 9,700 gallons when it should usually have nothing less than 14,000 gallons. The engine was found on Murray Street when it should have been right around the Tower. Things were said about the plane being like a missile since the engine was dropped so far from the Towers. According to German TV footage, the planes front nozzle was caught on fire before going through the building. Conspiracy theories state that there were three things attached to the plan that were likely to explode. After the plane went into the building the plan some how exploded making it look like a missile went into the building or some how it was some sort of bomb. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA, drew out the plane and the way the plane was flown into the Towers and it did not seem right. The plane propellers of the Boeing 757 were smaller than the hole it actuall...
The official story of 9/11 is a conspiracy theory in that the government claims 19 hijackers conspired together to hijack four planes and create terror in the world. Four American airplanes were hijacked; two were driven into the World Trade Centers and the third airplane into the Pentagon. The fourth airplane suspected target was the White House, but it was diverted by the brave men and women aboard that hijacked airplane, and crashed the airline jet before it could reach its target. It was like time stood still as America watched through television broadcast these unbelievable and horrifying events taking place. The reports told of the smell the jet fuel, burning flesh, and people jumping out windows to their death to escape the flames. When the two bravura structures tumbling down, rescuers, (police officers, firefighters, and ambulance drivers and techs) were caught in the mast and lost their lives doing their job trying to save lives.
Is the government covering up the truth about the September 11 event in New York City or it’s just classified information that the world is not ready for. For many Years people around the world have came up with all these conspiracy theories about 911. theories such as Flight 93 being completely staged, there really was no second plane, some even say inside traders knew about attacks before they happened. These theories have many people wondering if the government really is covering up the truth about 911. Though no one can prove whether some 911 conspiracies are true , there are many suspicious events leading up to the tragedy that point to foul play.
Many people say that because no one knew 9/11 was going to happen there’s not much that could have been done to help prevent the attacks. Many others agree that the attacks that took thousands of lives were
On September 11, 2001 New York came upon a terrorist attack. The terrorist hijacked four airplanes the morning of the attack. The attack was part of the Al-Qaeda Islamist group, led by Osama Bin Laden. Two planes collided into the World Trade Center; one hit the Pentagon, and the other one crashed in Pennsylvania never reaching its destination. The cause of 9/11 is that Islam saw the United States as a heinous country with different and awful morals so they decided to attack. The consequences were the tensions between Americans and Muslims rose. Numerous hate crimes were committed and there was a massive economic downfall. We could have avoided this incident if the airport security would have been more strict, then the attack would have a less chance of happening (Bantista). “Make no mistake, the United States will hunt down and punish those responsible for these cowardly acts. Freedom itself was attacked this morning by a faceless coward. And freedom will be defended.” –President Bush directly after the 9/11 attacks (Tsimelkas). The government issued extreme changes in the military system and the surveillance ...
On September 11, 2001 the World Trade Center buildings one and two were attacked. However, who we were attacked by and even if we were attacked is a hard decision to make. There have been many different claims about how everything on that fateful day happened. There are facts that we know are true, though; Flight 11 flew into the North Tower at eight forty- six in the morning. Soon after, Flight 175 attacked the South Tower. By the end of the day, both towers had collapsed and other hijacked flights had caused damage. The amount of lives lost on September 11 was substantial; 2,749 people from eighty-three different countries died from the attacks (Facts about the attacks…, n.d.). All in all, America was changed forever.
On September 11, 2001, the Islamist terrorist group known as al-Qaeda launched a series of terrorist attacks on the United States of America, specifically in the New York City and Washington D.C areas. Nineteen al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four planes with the intention of using them as suicide attacks that would crash those planes into designated buildings, or targets. Two of the four passenger jets were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, both of which collapsed entirely within two hours of being hit. The third plane was crashed into the Pentagon, and the west side of the building, which is the Headquarters of the US Department of Defense, partially collapsed. The fourth hijacked plane was intended for the US Capitol Building in Washington D.C, but instead crashed into a field in Pennsylvania after the passengers of the plane interfered with the hijackers. The attack on September 11th was devastatingly fatal—almost 3,000 people died in the attacks, including all of the al-Qaeda hijackers and every passenger aboard the four planes.
One of the most devastating terrorist attacks in United States history, 9/11, has taken the
September 11, 2001 is known as the worst terrorist attack in United States history. On a clear Tuesday morning, there were four planes that were hijacked and flown into multiple buildings by a terrorist group named al Qaeda. This group, led by Osama bin Laden, killed nearly 3,000 people. Out of those 3,000 people more than 400 police and 343 firefighters were killed along with 10,000 people who were treated for severe injuries. Many lives were taken, and to this day, people still suffer from the attack. September 11th is the most influential event of the early twenty-first century because it made an increase in patriotism, it caused a rise in security throughout the nation, and it had a tremendous effect of thousands of lives.
Some people believe in Bush did 9/11 because of their confirmation bias. If someone posts that 9\11 was an inside job, then someone says they saw the planes go into the Twin Towers but then the person counters with a false fact such as Jet Fuel can’t melt steel beams. The person who believes in the 9\11 conspiracy theory uses his confirmation bias to believe in false facts that support his beliefs. That is why conspiracy theories are still around. When you try to debunk false facts, you are actually helping people believe those same false facts.
There were numerous events and threats leading up to the terrorists attacks on the World Trade Center which left chaos amongst the streets of downtown New York City and would leave America and its families devastated and prone to change after this infamous date in our nation’s history. What happened on September 11th, 2001 was without a doubt both horrific and ill natured. Multiple terrorists hijacked several US airliners that would later be flown into the North and South towers, the Pentagon, and also an unintended area in Pennsylvania. It can be said that the United States of America was unprepared and vulnerable for these occurrences.
A poll taken five years after the attack showed that 1/3 of Americans believe that the government had something to do with the attacks or knew the attacks were coming, but did not step in to stop them (Norman, 2011).
On September 11, 2001 terrorists crashed two American airline airplanes into Twin Towers, killing thousands of people. It was the worst terrorist attack in American history and it showed us that we are not protected by Atlantic and Pacific. It showed us that we could be attacked by anyone at anytime. It showed us that if we will be attacked again that we can only depend on each other and not on other nations to help us. The 9/11 changed people forever, some lost family members or friends, others lost their jobs even so called “American Dream.”
The Clinton administration was at fault for the 9/11 attacks. During the course of his presidency, Bill Clinton had more than a single chance to catch those responsible for the 9/11 tragedy. During his term of 8 years, Clinton had seen a fair share of terrorist attacks, all of which were quickly forgotten. Clinton not only sparked the attack on the World Trade Center, but he may very well have sparked hatred towards the United States by many of the Middle Eastern countries.
