Derrick Duncan Miss Tyson American Literature and Composition 2 30 April 2014 Conspiracy theories The government is a powerful force in America that helps make up America, so powerful it might have the ability to do something tragic and get away with it. Conspiracy theories are created on almost every serious accident to date and some of them could be true. The illuminati could be behind most conspiracy theories due to the fact that they are mentioned in most of the conspiracy theories. Conspiracy theories vary from tragic accidents, Assassinations, and Aliens in America. Tragic accidents such as 9/11 and the Sandy Hook shooting are big theories. Assassinations such as John F. Kennedys and Abraham Lincolns also created many theories among people. Lastly alien activity hold much theories to it like sightings of UFO’s and crop circles in corn fields. Tragic Accidents occur all over the world and for most them a conspiracy theory is created but major ones that exist are 9/11 and the most recent Sandy Hook shooting. Many people died in 9/11 and it was a day most people will never forget. North America aerospace defense command ordered a stand down order on that day (Ashayana 1-2). People say that whenever 9/11 fell it looked like an act of demolition more than an act of terrorism (Ashayana 2). If that is true that means there would have to have been bombs on the inside of the building already placed. Another big thing that’s said in this theory is that this attack gave the government an excuse they needed to go to war. A lot of other people say that planes could not have been so catastrophic to have caused the building to collapse going back to the bombs already placed inside the building theory. Another factor in this 9/11 theor... ... middle of paper ... ...aptured a UFO and the occupants inside but the government quickly said it was then discovered to be a weather balloon and that was all. If that’s true then that would show the government is trying to cover up this whole theory of alien activity from us. Also in the 1950’s a group called FSWP (Flying saucer working party) was formed to try and get evidence of alien activity and of UFO existence. Also the majestic 12 documents surfaced in 1982 suggesting the government had high level interest in UFO’s and the document covered 3 pages of writing of the governments interest. UFO theories have been everywhere up until the 2000’s where they started to die off among people. Those where the theories on UFO’s that were strong amongst people. Not only does alien theories have UFO’s but they also include of crop circles which are very popular also in the whole alien theory.

    There were several conspiracies about the planes that attacked the Twin Towers. One of the planes left Boston's Logan Airport at 7:59 a.m. The hijackers zoomed the plane into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 a.m. The other plane left Logan Airport at 8:14 a.m. The hijackers flew the plane into the South Tower of the World Trade Center at 9:03 a.m. America had stated that 10 planes were suppose to be hijacked on that day. “Providing new details on the planning of the plot, the commission staff said that al-Qaida planner Khalid Shaihk Mohammed initially proposed a Sept. 11 attack involving 10 planes that would be used to attack CIA and FBI headquarters, unidentified nuclear plants and tall buildings in California and Washington state,” (Brunker). Both planes that flew into the Twin Towers were Boeing 767. The plane was 159 feet long. Another thing that seemed odd was that 9,700 gallons when it should usually have nothing less than 14,000 gallons. The engine was found on Murray Street when it should have been right around the Tower. Things were said about the plane being like a missile since the engine was dropped so far from the Towers. According to German TV footage, the planes front nozzle was caught on fire before going through the building. Conspiracy theories state that there were three things attached to the plan that were likely to explode. After the plane went into the building the plan some how exploded making it look like a missile went into the building or some how it was some sort of bomb.
