The Law of Magnetism, is visible in all areas of life. The author applies the law to the old saying “birds of feather flock together” and states that this was something his mother had told him that he later in life saw the truth in. I believe many people can relate to this idea for the same reasons. This is a saying most people have heard in their life and as grow older they see the validity. We do attract those most like us into our circle. That may be in the shape of friends, work acquaintances, and significant others. I have always believed that most relationships are created via something one respects or reflects. On the occasions that I cannot personally conduct my viewings on my rental property I have a person that stands in for me. I chose this person based on her strengths, she honest and has proven to be a good judge of character. These are traits I equally possess. She is an assistant vice president of a department of Wells Fargo, so the business side of renting out a property she can handle without a problem. Where we differ however is the key reason I have her handle this for me. She loves interior design and relator work. I, on the other hand, do not. She is aware of just what aspects to play up and just which ones to play down. Her love for all things dealing with homes gives her a skill set that I do not have. I just show the house and answer questions. She sells people on loving the house every time. I know many people that would happily show my homes to perspective tenants. Most are business type people that are more like me; they will list the facts about the homes and answer questions, but they don’t do it with the same excited flare that she does. Any time she shows one of my homes the perspective tenants comment about how knowledgeable she was and how warm and caring she is. She really doesn’t say anything much different than I do its her presentation that makes the

Imagining that you'll have no tensions between another person or you'll be living at peace with yourself, but as we grow were thrown a curveball that disrupts all your facade of happy life we made . It's a disrupting force yet people can overcome the hardest obstacles in order to pursue what or who they want to be acquaintances with. Putting in the effort pays off in the end and people can get where they want sooner if they just try a bit harder earlier on. If I am not open to their perspective, then I will not be able to help them move past whatever their situation may be. By recognizing that everyone has a different worldview, it will allow me to be more open and understanding towards them.

Meaning, if an individual proves to have a fascinating or beneficial method, it is more than likely they will find large masses of followers- the paradoxical nature of the individual. Consider the character Randle McMurphy of the novel, One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, written by Ken Kessey. When McMurphy was first admitted to the Oregon psychiatric institute, his eccentric and individualistic ways were rejected by the Acutes; he was too full of life with his pranks and laughter, something completely absent from the lives of the Acutes and Chronics. “The first thing that got me about this place, that there wasn’t anybody laughing. I haven’t heard a real laugh since I came through that door,” (page__). Not only was McMurphy up against the residents, but he also strongly opposed the rigid and controlling methods of Nurse Ratched and the Combine; one of the most obvious examples of conformity in the novel. However, slowly as the novel progressed, it was clear that McMurphy was gaining in popularity as the Acutes accepted his individuality, deeming it more beneficial than the ways of the Combine. The power of the Combine lessened as the shared laughter between the members of the institute began; the ultimate symbol of rebellion against conformity, of individuality. “They laughed so hard about some of the things [McMurphy had] said to the nurse that the two Vegetables ... on the Chronics’ side grinned and snorted along with the laughter,” (page___). The Acutes and few Chronics began to mimic McMurphy's behaviours and attitudes, forming a collective which consciously chose to disobey Nurse

The magnetic susceptibility χ (=M/H) (FC and ZFC) as a function of temperature measured at low applied field (H=50 Oe) is presented in Fig.5. The molar susceptibility shows a monotonic increase upon cooling down to ~ 22 K, where a steeper increase is observed. Below this temperature a bifurcation between the ZFC and the FC curves is evident (see inset of Fig.5. On the other and above 22 K the reciprocal magnetic susceptibility (1/χ) as a function of temperature shows a linear trend (Fig. 5 right scale). In detail, above ca. 30 K, in the paramagnetic region, the Curie-Weiss law is strictly followed. By fitting the linear part of the 1/χ curve with 1/χ = (T-p)/C, in the 30-310 K temperature range, a Curie-Weiss temperature, p = -2.3 K, and the Curie constant, C = 1.30 cm3.K.mol-1, (µeff = 3.2 µB) were obtained. The small negative Curie-Weiss temperature indicates the presence weak antiferromagnetic exchangeinteraction between the Ni magnetic centres. Indeed, the χT curve (Fig. 6 left scale) shows a downward curvature, typical of systems with antiferromagnetic correlations and/or non-negligible spin-orbit coupling. The χT=1.31 cm3.K.mol-1 at 310 K undergoes a small and gradual decrease to 1.19 emu.K.mol-1 at 24.5 K. The Curie constant value, either obtained by1/χ linear fit or the χT product for T>>p is in reasonable agreement with the expected spin-only theoretical value for NiII in octahedral environment with S=1 spin state (C = 1 cm3.K.mol-1and µeff = 2.83 µB considering g = 2) for unquenched orbital moment C = 3.91 cm3.K.mol-1and µeff = 5.59 µB).
