Breeds of Dogs Some dog owners who are very interested about their playmates are starting to say that dog’s are a man’s best friend, and a very resourceful companion. They have been domesticated since the beginning of time. There are many different breeds of dogs in this world, therefore I’m going to compare the similarities and contrast the differences between only three unique, resourceful, yet loyal dogs. These dogs are the Beagle, German Shepard, and Rough Collie. The similarities between the Beagle, German Shepard, and Rough Collie are that they’re very popular towards many dog owners. They remain loyal to dog owners, and because of these particular traits that the dogs show they

First, the Beagles have the instinct to chase in the tradition of the famous beagle packs during the 1800’s but at the same time they are very loyal to their owners who care for them. Beagles are born as hound dogs they have the natural instinct to hunt even when they are in dog parks. Also, they are very brave for their size and they will not hesitate to warn their owners of any perceived dangers with a loud bark. Then, they are good natured and peaceful with their loving companions who care for them. Next, is the German Shepard, these dogs are known for being strong, courageous, and most obedient dog for the service of the police. They also have a rather distinct personality marked by a direct and fearless expression, obvious self-confidence and reluctance to develop indiscriminate friendships. Yet, they can tend to be indifferent to strangers and can be aloof, however once they befriend you, their devotion is eternal to you. Finally, the Rough Collie, they were born as a large, strong, aggressive dog to herd highland sheep. Also, they provide sufficient exercise and mental stimulation for dog owners to prevent boredom. Lastly, they need a lot of socialization if they don’t receive the amount of social attention required from their loving compatible dog owners the rough collies will be shy or fearful to
They are very loyal and protective dogs. They are extremely intelligent and can learn both numerous and various tricks in a short and fast periods of time. Some can be found to be laid back, while others can be more temperamental. These dogs are always looking for something to do and should be put in a home where they can look forward to daily activity, exercise and training. Although these dogs can be mistaken for aggressive and even sometimes dangerous, these dogs will grow to be what they are brought up to be. If you want a loyal, smart, loving companionship these dogs will be there to the
Are these dogs misunderstood? In reality a dog is a reflection of its human, they see you as a pack leader they are who you raise them to be no matter the breed. If you neglect your puppy by chaining them up outside their whole life or keep them in
Most of the dogs on this list are common household pets, like the Labrador retriever, and are normally non-aggressive and very friendly. Many times these dogs show no sign of aggression and pose no threat to society. Perspective One Breed-specific laws were put in place with the expectation to help prevent dog bites and attacks. The State and Federal government both came to the conclusion that this is a positive way to promote safety from dog attacks. “Both state and federal courts consistently uphold the constitutionality of breed-specific pit bull laws.... ...
The Australian Shepherd started out as a working dog. Today for the most part it still is, but they have entered a different type of work besides herding. The versatility of the Aussie is remarkable. Today's Aussie is an active and intelligent companion who requires stimulation and activity. There are very few breeds of dogs capable of performing as many different jobs as the Australian Shepherd. The breed's easy trainability, intelligence, common sense and problem solving abilities, combined with a medium sized build, easy to care for coat, strong will to work and incredible loyalty make for a great working and playing companion.
There are no perfect dogs in the world but only the most suitable dogs in our family. If we love our most faithful friends, we should not bring pain to them. If we love purebred dogs, we should take good care of them. If we do not excessive pursue purebred, there will be less genetic problems in purebred dogs. Don’t make more purebred dogs cry; don’t make more purebred puppies suffer more genetic diseases, don’t make more homeless purebred dogs, don’t make more purebred dogs die in the shelters. They have already devoted too much for us, so now, it is time for us to do something for them.
These dogs have good personalities. If people allow them, their dog will try to be the “alpha dog.” If the people show them that they are the “alpha dog,” the dog will sometimes throw the cutest dog tantrums. They will not bite, but they will act angry. Pit bulls can keep children entertained by their constant playfulness.
All dogs, like humans, have the potential to either be nice or mean, respond well or poorly to the environment, and interact with others either up to par with social standards or not. The amount and type of socialization

Dogs that are forced to fight and are conditioned to defend themselves or die. When these dogs get loose, everything is a threat to them and they defend themselves in the name of survival. If golden retrievers were bred and raised with the sole purpose of fighting to the death, they would be just as dangerous as pit bulls. On the contrary, if all pit bulls were bred and treated as family dogs, they would have the same reputation as golden retrievers, if not better, as the statistics found in the temperament test above show.
There are many breeds of dogs to choose from some of the most common are golden retriever, German shepherd, and Labrador retriever. Many people can pick almost any breed they are looking for though. The common breeds I pointed out are used because of their intelligence, willingness to work, and their mobility. The dogs that help are really filling a hole that these people have.
There are many different types of work dogs. Some types of work dogs also have different jobs for which they are trained for. Law enforcement dogs, for instance, are normally detector dogs. Detector dogs have a large interest in fetching and retrieving. There are two major types of detector dogs. These types are narcotic detectors and explosive detectors. Narcotic detectors are used to search for drugs and narcotics. Explosive detector dogs are used to detect TNT and other like explosives. There are three main dog breeds used as law enforcement dogs. The German shepherd is the best breed for law enforcement. They are easily taught to attack with full control and know how to restrain someone without hurting them. They are very agile and strong. They have heart and are very brave dogs. Another breed used is the Labrador retriever. They are used as detector dogs, both narcotic and explosive. They naturally have the urge to retrieve things. Golden Retrievers are also great dogs for detecting, again, both narcotics and explosives.
As princesses of the canine universe, Annie type dogs have a loving yet manipulative personality. An Annie dog assumes the role of queen bee. As leader of the pack, she keeps everybody in line. She dominates all of the other dogs, often by physical herding or malicious growl. Tough the tough façade she has created does not accurately represent her entire personality. There is a bit of a diva atop Annie dogs’ fur, especially when anger causes the hairs of her back to stand on end. But, she is not all diva. To other members of the canine breed, Annie types seem rough and tough, but whenever a familiar human is thrown into the dynamic, Annie dogs know how to suck up. Immediately, rolling over and showing off the pink exposed skin of the belly. They loose their rough edges and show off the sweet puppy that still remains beneath the growling front. Annie dogs become the epitome of loyal, loving pets. Being the lightest sleeper’s in the canine world, Annie types will awake at any noise, exemplifying how they protect familiar humans from creepy and questionable humans. They always come when called, even if it means leaving the hot trail of a chipmunk or bunny rabbit. Annie dogs fulfill the loyal and protective branches of man’s best friend’s quality list.
People have started to make remarks of the resemblance between dogs and their owners, and from what we have found, it is usually noticed at dog shows and from strangers passing by in the streets. There are two factors that could make the owner and the dog similar. One would be people selecting dogs that are like them, and people who select dogs which features start to change and become similar to them over time. As a comparison to animals and their dogs, there is evidence that couples look physically similar after 25 years rather than people who have recently been wed. In the research we have conducted, we have found that purebred dogs have a greater resemblance than people who own non purebred dogs.
Dogs are wonderful creatures. They are loyal, dependable companions if given the opportunity. In recent years I have come to the opinion that we could learn something from these animals. We should also take a look at the manner in which they are being treated. Abandonment, irresponsible breeding, and neglect are only some of the ways that humans are failing the canine species.
A crucial part to this dog's individuality from the other breeds is based upon their characteristics. An accurate description of them would be “these are dogs with friendly, often exuberant, personalities, and sense of fun”(the labrador site). With this type of character, it is almost impossible not to be drawn in considering their ability to fit in with any type of family or person. A positive attitude is contagious, and
