Aggressive driving and road rage are technically two different things. Aggressive drivers operate their vehicles in such a way as to endanger themselves and others on the road. This driving includes tailgating, speeding, weaving in and out of traffic lanes, and cutting other vehicles off. The reason for their actions do not revolve around intimidating or threatening someone else on the road. On the other hand, road rage involves using one's car to threaten another motorist. Unlike the aggressive driver, the "road rager's" entire focus is on you. The person may deliberately cut you off multiple times with his car while slamming the brakes or even make bumper to bumper contact from behind.
