It all started with people tailgating and cutting off other divers and causing a argument that mostly turn into road rage. The type of people who be the main cause of the road rage would be impatient and insane drivers who always in a hurry. Most accident are highway and busy streets are cause by road rage just by somebody acting a nut on the road because they think where they got to go is more important than your life and their life. But what cause a person to drive crazy maybe they had bad day at the work, argument with a friend or a family member, or their credit cards were maxed out.A normal commuter anger can change more than fifty percent of drivers each year when a crazy driver is cause of it. Road rage is something that has always happen on highways and busy streets of America and Foreign Country. The number of serious accidents that have been cause by road rage has risen more than sixty-one percent since 1990.More than five thousand examples of road rage have been documented over the past seven years which are only a small part of what really be going on. …show more content…

Weaving, tailgating, distracted drivers, and unsafe lane changes were some of the unsafe behaviors identified. Aggressive drivers are more likely to drink and drive or drive unbelted. Aggressive driving can easily escalate into an incident of road rage. Motorists in all 50 states have killed or injured other motorists for seemingly trivial reasons. Motorists should keep their cool in traffic, be patient and courteous to other drivers, and correct unsafe driving habits that are likely to endanger, antagonize or provoke other motorists. More than half of those surveyed by NHTSA admitted to driving aggressively on occasion. Only 14 percent felt it was "extremely dangerous" to drive 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. 62 percent of those who frequently drive in an unsafe and illegal manner said police for traffic reasons had not stopped them in the past year. The majority of those in the NHTSA survey (52 percent) said it was "very important" to do something about speeding. Ninety-eight percent of respondents thought it "important" that something be done to reduce speeding and unsafe driving.
