Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Nervous System Involvement
Upon concluding my neurobiology course, I spent some time reflecting on what I've learned about the nervous system and its functions. I thought about how much progress has been made in the last couple of decades alone in defining and understanding certain aspects of neuronal functions, and must admit that I am very impressed. However, there is still so much we don't know about this area, and nowhere has this notion proved more true than in my exploration of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. As will soon be clear, this disease is highly debilitating and can greatly lower the quality of an individual's life, yet to date there are no definite findings about the etiology of this illness. But even more importantly, this illness shows the importance of understanding and being able to assess the different workings of our nervous system and its complex nature. Unfortunately, the study of this same disease also shows the human inability to yet do so.
So what is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or CFS? I would like to be able to explain exactly what CFS is, but true to the nature of what is known about this illness, there is no precise way to describe CFS. Rather, the disease is identified through a number of symptoms (both physical and psychological), including unexplained and persistent fatigue of new or definite onset, concurrent with short-term memory loss, sore throat, tender axillary lymph nodes, muscle pain and unrefreshing sleep, among a number of others, for a duration of at least six months. As is probably evident, the above symptoms, in addition to being signs of CFS, are also the same (or very similar) symptoms experienced in such diseases as Lymes disease and "the flu." There are symptoms that involve the Gastrointestinal Tract (GI), immunological-related symptoms, symptoms of psychiatric disease like depression, sexual malfunction, endocrine dysfunction-basically every system in the body. This is part of the reason why CFS is hard to detect, and is usually chosen as a diagnosis only at the exclusion of all other possible ailments. The other difficulty that lies with diagnosing CFS is that there is no way of measuring the level of a person's fatigue-there is no way for a physician to tell whether a patient complaining of fatigue is experiencing the type of fatigue associated with CFS or he/she is just extremely tired and overworked.

Guillain- Barre Syndrome (GBS) is a rare, but very fatal auto- immune disease that specifically focuses on attacking the myelin sheath that surrounds the peripheral nerves in the human body. There are many different severities of this disease, but without treatment it can not only affect the entire nervous system but eventually shut down the rest of the body.
Frances W. Kaye suggests that The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is an essential milestone in American literature. This powerful novel is structured around slavery and racism. Removing those elements from the novel serves to change the story itself thereby eliminating its effect. The novel wouldn’t be the novel that it is (1 of 21). Frances W. Kaye discusses the continuing significance of Huckleberry Finn, it emphasizes that the book marks over racism in the white society. She tells the reader that The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is beautiful, cruel and is indecisive. The novel is the bondage of two people and their fight for someone’s freedom. She points out that readers must read carefully because this was written his Twain’s time and the language was different. She tells us that “nigger” was meant for black people back then so she has quoted us what Huck said in the novel “Good gracious! Anybody hurt?” “No’m. Killed a nigger”. “Well, it’s lucky; because sometimes people do get hurt. (Chapter 32)1 Frances W. Kaye tells us that if Twain opinion of slavery ends up being surprising, she believes that Twain opinion o...
During the time of World War II, the Holocaust and the Nazis were raging stronger than ever across places with Judaism present, such as Austria and Germany. Adolf Hitler, the ruthless leader of the Nazis, was persecuting Jews and sending Jews to concentration camps. Although there was little refuge from this dilemma, there was some hope for Jews; that hope was love and friendship. Anti-Semitism was caused by race and religion being a border to what a person should do, but love and friendship can overcome this all, shown by the documentary “50 Children” and the book The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. These types of media follow two stories: one where love and pure goodness show an American couple the right path to saving 50 children from Nazi Germany. The other story follows two young boys who, amidst the turmoil around them, manage to find happiness and refuge in a newly formed friendship. Both stories overcome barriers of race and religion which shows that love and friendship can overcome all, even politics, race, and religion.

On the excel document if there is an invalid data, data validation function can be applied and it instructs excel to circle invalid data. Lastly, when using watch window to monitor, you are able to view specific cells and monitor worksheets as soon as formula or changes that are made, that affect the outcome of watch cells. With that being said, these functions are important in any field ones desires to be in such as auditing, banking, or even running your own company; it gives more organization, accuracy and easy way to update any data if there are future changes.

A spreadsheet is a document that stores data in cells within a table of columns and rows. Rows are usually labelled using numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.), while columns are labelled with letters (A, B, C, etc.). Cells are the individual box that found between row and column for example B1 and C5 would be individual cells. Each cell can store extraordinary information. By entering information into a spreadsheet, data could be put away in a more organized manner than utilizing plain content the column/row structure likewise enables the information to be analysed utilizing equations and calculations.
Spreadsheets can be used for a variety of things such as analysing data. Performing automatic calculations to save you doing them manually once you typed in a simple formula. Automatically changes parts of the spreadsheet if you change something that is connected to that. E.g. price of items which is connected to total – If you change the price or the amount of items the total will rise and if you decrease viceversa. Spreadsheets can be used to create complex interactive sheets which allow you t...
The comprehensive tools in Microsoft Excel make it easy to create powerful spreadsheets and work with others to review and analyze them. Excel gives novice and intermediate users more confidence in working with spreadsheets by making more of the existing functionality easier to discover as well as by providing more intelligence to help assure users that they are not making mistakes. For the advanced users, Excel focuses on making common tasks easier and more intuitive. Excel is designed to make it easy for anyone to share data with others, connect to important data on the Web or within an organization, and analyze that data to make better decisions. Excel allows users to spend time analyzing their data rather than worrying about their software. For example, in the past, if an error were to occur, it was likely that the user would have had to spend a significant amount of time recreating their work.
Organisational communication’s primary goal is to research and understand the process of communication within organisations and then develop ways to improve the mechanics of the same. To this end various communication researchers have focused themselves on understanding the barriers that are posed in front of effective communication in the organisations. Some of the main barriers that are identified are interpersonal barriers or personal barriers one that come from individual differences and characteristics and the others are systemic barriers or barriers that result as a consequence of organisational structure, systems and
6th grade, new girl, it was a whole new start for me as I just moved from another place. I tried to be cool and friendly with all. I tried my very best in the class and followed all the rules. My grades were impressive, and I was popular among my teachers and friends, except for …Chi. Twice as big as others, and rude, Chi declared herself the “tyrant”. And I was her victim. She called me “sheep”. She pushed me whenever she saw me. She stuck glue on my chair. She even put gum to my 3-year-grown hair, forcing me to cut it. Nobody đứng ra to protect me. All my classmates were afraid of Chi. Telling the teachers was useless because thanks to Chi’s “influential” background, they closed their eyes to her aggressive behaviors. I couldn’t tell my mom either because Chi’s parents were her employer. This only stopped when I “granted her request”. She just threw any kind of exercise on me and I had to finish it carefully.
