Christmas is only five days away and what could be more romantic than to have a beautiful winter wedding. The first theme that typically comes to mind during this season is a winter wonderland theme, but why limit yourself? The holidays are the perfect time to embrace those jolly good spirits and festive cheer to make your glamorous wedding into a merry event. The weather outside may be frightful, but seeing your beloved's smile greeting you at the altar should be enough to keep you warm on your wedding day. Feeling inspired by the holiday season, we have designed a glamorous wedding board to spark new ideas for taking advantage of the chilly season. This seasonal color palette features some vibrant blues but instead of matching them with silver
...tones of violet or purple, combined with gold and other colors, while the Blues would favor materials in blue and white.
'Mommy... Mommy...MOMMY , Santa was here ' said the little girl in her green and red outfit . The idea that children believe that Santa Claus is quite absurd to many people but some people think that it is just a part of growing up.
This is not your typical Christmas tale. This story is about a group of friends who decide giving is better than receiving around this time of year. There are tons of children who aren’t fortunate enough to get Christmas presents, let alone plenty who don’t even have family to spend the holidays with. Three best friends ended up figuring that out and worked together to truly create a Christmas miracle.
For hundreds of years Thanksgiving has been a holiday filled with traditions celebrating family and togetherness. The day after thanksgiving known as “Black Friday” is a day for shopping and taking advantage of greatly reduced prices. The recent decision by retailers to move Black Friday to Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, has caused quite a stir among many families. People have become upset over the decision to turn a day of gratitude and family, into another day of greed and violence. Retailers should not open their stores on Thanksgiving Day because doing so will cause many employees to miss out on spending a special day with their families, cause people to forget about the thanks and festivities that thanksgiving represents, and create more violence in stores and violence towards people.
“The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him” (G.K. Chesterton). A soldier is a soldier no matter what. If they fight behind a screen, on the front line, or from a controller as long as they’re protecting this country, the people in it, and the people fighting for it they are honorable. Some think that because one does their fighting from a remote control drone means that they have no understanding of war, and in some ways that is true, but they are still taking someone’s life when they choose to press that button just like the solders on the front line takes someone’s life when they pull the trigger. Both people are fighting the same fight: they love the country they are defending the people in it they just do it from different standpoints. Drones
Before I arrived at Saks, I can see bright pure white lights shining along the street. The brightness really attract my attention and lead me toward there. The lights are useful technique to allure visitors from far away. While I was walking toward the Saks, I hear the Christmas music gradually. The music switches my mood to holiday mood and leads me to a Christmas environment. However, if I were the designer, I would turn off the music. Even though the music cause me feel more like in Christmas time, the car horn and the sound of ambulance mix with the music make me a little bit annoyed. But others seem like enjoy in the music. The “Winter Palace” is a special part of the window display. Other windows are also as elegant as the special windows. My favorite one is the “Snow Queen”. She wears a white wedding gown, which is from Vera Wang with a giant sliver crown, and sit on a long dinner table. The table is full of white and sliver dessert. Many strands of pearls twine around the pendent lamp, and the lamp drops on the celling. Base on the decoration, the woman seem like have the control of the snow. I can see the power from the dress, the crown and the fur scarf. The giant silver crown makes she looks more powerful than without it. Additional, the blue violet light provide more

Complimentary color palettes consist of complementary colors, colors that exist on opposite ends of the color wheel. Common examples of these would be red and green, violet and yellow, and most commonly blue and orange. Blue and orange color palettes are often seen in most blockbuster
In "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a transformation as a result of his encounters with three ghosts and becomes a kind, happy, and generous man. His greedy, cruel, and grumpy demeanor is replaced seemingly overnight, but he doesn’t just wake up and decide to be nice. It takes three Spirits to change his outlook on life - The Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present, and Future. The Ghost of Christmas Past makes Scrooge begin to regret his selfishness, and the Ghost of Christmas Present begins to teach him about others. This second Ghost helps to make him realize that money doesn't buy happiness. The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, however, teaches the most profound lesson of all: unless he changes, no one will care if Scrooge dies. Because of the Ghosts, by Christmas morning Ebenezer Scrooge is a completely different person from the man who went to bed on Christmas Eve.
Emma, Marissa and I are in charge of the making the lefse. This has been our job ever since we were little girls, becoming experts through all our years of experience. My grandma makes the most amazing food and always has enough to feed us for a week. After we stuff ourselves full of delicious, lasagna, salads, and hot dishes all made with love and while the adults lean back comfortably in their chairs, us kids go put on our pajamas and troop downstairs to open our gifts. The most memorable gift would be the ring my grandma gave me that used to be my great-grandmothers who died a couple days after my grandma turned fifteen. My great-grandma loved to travel and had a great passion for fashion, so this circle of metal with a little diamond in the middle and a floral pattern surrounding it, had been bought in California and has been in the family since. “Bang, bang, bang!” A huge pounding comes from the front door. Dogs bark, adults grin, and we race to open the creaky door. Santa Claus, eyes twinkling, dressed in red with coal-black boots, and swinging a sack over his right shoulder, steps inside. He plops down heavily; ringing merry bells and passes them off to David, my brother, telling him seriously to keep ringing them so Rudolf won’t fly away without him. With wide eyes, little David shakes the bells with such rigor that if Rudolf was in the North Pole he would be able to hear them. We each take a turn perching on his knee, hesitant at first but then opening up and telling him our age and that, “yes we have been really, really, really good this year.” As Santa’s beard tickles our chin as we lean in close for a picture and his big belly shakes as he laughs at the same time as you start to giggle. Then he opens his sack and pulls out gifts wrapped in colorful paper for each of us. With a few cookies for the road, crumbs in his beard and a

Many little girls dream of their big fairytale wedding with a prince charming of their own. We all have watched and grown up with the classic Disney movies that not only entertain children, but are influenced by what we see.
