A Christmas Miracle

This is not your typical Christmas tale. This story is about a group of friends who decide giving is better than receiving around this time of year. There are tons of children who aren’t fortunate enough to get Christmas presents, let alone plenty who don’t even have family to spend the holidays with. Three best friends ended up figuring that out and worked together to truly create a Christmas miracle.
“What do you want for Christmas this year?” asked Bob.
“Oh I want a cute little puppy!” squealed Jessica.
“I wish that it would snow for once out here,” Bob said with a frown appearing upon his face. “That has never happened before”.
“Well I want the brand new limited edition bike that’s only on sale this Christmas!”

Landon shouted. The three of them went on and on about which gifts they wish to gain this year. Just thinking about presents, time with their families’, and the holiday cheer made them all jubilant for Christmas. Suddenly, Jessica had a great thought. “What if we give back this year?”
“What do you mean Jess?” Bob replied
“Yeah, what are you talking about?” Landon added
“I mean that we should give to people who don’t have families to spend Christmas with,” Jessica muttered. Bob, Landon, and Jessica began to talk about the idea then realized it was the perfect thing to do. Jessica talked to her parents about the idea she and her friends had come up with and they agreed to help find a way to make it happen. With a little bit of research they all concluded that buying presents for the children at the orphanage is the route to go. Since the idea was that of Jessica, Bob, and Landon the three of them combined their money coming up with a grand total of five hundred dollars. Thanks to the kind hearts of three young kids, the orphans were in for a special treat this Christmas.
Jessica’s parents went down to the orphanage to ask the manager’s permission if it was okay to buy the orphans gifts. The manager was stoked about the idea and gladly accepted the offer with open arms.
