Parents who are receiving child support should have to prove what they spent it on. Child support should be supporting the child, not the parent’s extra-curricular activities. When parents receive child support, they tend to lack the responsibility of getting a job to support themselves and their part of child’s expenses. There is no excuse for a child to have to wear clothes that do not fit them, just because the other parent spends the child support on themselves. Child support is called “child support” for a reason, and that reason is to support the child. If the parent receiving child support does not spend it for its main purpose, that parent should have consequences for not taking proper care of the child.
