Charles A. Bonnici uses several practical examples in his book to illustrate the application of leadership. Even though this book focuses more on issues related to leadership in a school set up, the principles presented in this book are practical under various fields of leadership, including health professions. Bonnici points out a few ideologies, which once put into practice lead to successful leadership. Therefore, this book is greatly useful in leadership and the health professions. It offers individual knowledge of solving problems and laying proper strategies that are productive. This book guides leaders to walk the talk. Therefore, Bonnici’s book is immensely useful in shaping leadership in all aspects of life (Charles 1). Aspects of good leadership Bonnici’s book is subdivided into several chapters where in each chapter he points out aspects that a good leader needs to observe. For instance, in the first chapter Bonnici suggests that a good leader should lead in practice and should be a role model. A good role model sets the path for others to follow, by being outstanding in all they do. Naturally, people learn by observing, more than by listening. This enables people learn what they can observe easily as compared to what they hear. When a leader becomes a role model, there is a likelihood they will comprehend better what the people being led go through, hence the leader will impose practical expectations on the followers (Charles 9). Bonnici demonstrates that a leader should not be part of the problem, but a solution. In any practical University or Physical therapy center for example, certain issues might emanate and become problems in that particular place. Therefore, a leader should learn how to handle these issues ra... ... middle of paper ... ...siastically and better. A person who is always having their positive side praised is likely to have their negative habits die down: the vice versa is also correct. A good leader will also tend to practice control of their communication. Information is censored so that only some information is delivered to certain people. This keeps information safe (Charles 123). Bonnici also insists that a good leader offers support to their staff. Motivated staff performs well in their endeavors. Besides, everyone desires to feel appreciated and love doing their working freely without pressures and feelings of compulsion. Bonnici also points out that a good leader gives attention to details. This ensures that a leader recognizes when the people subject to him are well and when they are not well. This helps in putting things in order early enough as they are realized (Charles 145).
It is the job of a leader to be a role model because people look up to you. Leadership is something I may have to work on a little because I am a shy person, but that doesn’t stop me. Last year, some 6th grade student were going to be selected to give a tour of the school to the 5th graders who were coming to Great Hollow the following year. My teacher was unsure that I would be a good choice because I am quiet in class. But I convinced him to let me be a tour guide and he was impressed with my performance. I was excited and talked to the students about the school and I was happy to be a leader and show the 5th graders what to do. I proved to myself I had

As I have developed in my job, school, and as a person, I found that I enjoyed helping others and want to become a leader. This paper will further describe how my experiences and background have shaped the leader I am today.
The role of leadership has become increasing valuable for organizations to be successful. According to Huber (2014), Leadership can best be defined as method utilized to ensure that an objective is completed. There are many different types of leaderships that can be found within each organization. In this paper I will highlight an example of a specific leadership style that we come across in healthcare settings. I will review my leadership self-assessment results and discuss the impact of leadership on staff and groups.
...the author believes that the comparison of the Leader-member exchange, the situational approach to leadership, and the premise of emotional intelligence has uncovered important leadership truths that may not be mutually exclusive. Surely the enigma of leadership is that it contains many truths, with the only universal truth being that none are universal, but empirically sound to aid the leader in guiding followers and the institutions they comprise.

Leadership which is success oriented and mindful of the people’s welfare should be the one that provides direction and steering change which is beneficial to every person. This implies a leadership with the capacity to make development processes and programs a routine whilst at the same time being reliable and systems. Furthermore, leadership incorporates management practices such as the organization of people and providing alternative solutions to various problems affecting the system. An effective leader should be able to prepare people for change (Bennis, 1989).
This book is regarding the art of leadership. It is providing liberty to individuals to do what they want at the best and humane way imaginable. It is a book of more ideas, notions and relationships, it deals with why rather than how of institutional and corporate life. This book was created out of many peoples’ support which surprisingly author never met.
It is essential to build an abundance of leadership and life skills that prime an individual for success. There are an infinite amount of talents and abilities that can allow one to be a great leader and make an impact in all aspects of life, even when facing common adversity. With practice, a numerous amount of habits can also be formed that aid in self-development. Being able to do things, such as following directions can be a direct correlation to becoming a great leader, and finding the path to success. Consistency, along with the creation of a respectable work ethic, are also essential abilities to have in the arsenal that a great leader should have. Combining such skills creates a dynamic blend which allows a leader to gain the respect, trust, and obedience that one needs to lead. Without developing abilities, which are in no manner limited to a specific amount, it is impossible for one to not only to be an effective leader, but to lead at all. Which is why the importance of self- development cannot be overstressed.
...and by the mere fact of taking leadership positions. About the leadership decided cohesion, flexibility and the ability to build adequate contact with subordinates, as a result of which we will be able to manage them effectively. Employees want to follow the leader, paying attention to his comments because then they are motivated to work more efficiently and effectively. However it should be remembered that whether the manager is considered to be a leader depends mainly on his skills, understanding of others and also the specific way of issuing commands. A good leader puts requirements and shows a consequence in pursuing the objective. Moreover he must show his human nature when he is gentle and cheerful to people form the group. Good leader must be able to listen and understand them, showing that their opinion is just as important as other issues in the company.

Reflecting on my roles and accomplishments in leadership in business, I can define leadership as the creation of a favorable culture under which an individual or a group of people can successfully carry out their roles. Leadership is all about assessing the environment wherein tasks are handled, with an emphasis on applying different strategies to overcome the challenges while increasing the opportunities; thereby, enabling individuals to fulfill their given roles. Some of the elements of strong leadership involve setting and communicating clear visions and boundaries, giving people the latitude to perform their tasks, monitoring ongoing achievements against the established vision; and continually assessing opportunities for improvement. Others are the involvement of all individuals in business by encouraging them to own the goals of the organisation or projects, and embracing positivity through the application of caution, courage, and determination. A further understanding of my application of these leadership attributes can
