Trait of Cyberbullying In the past years, the traditional bullying has been trending to bully on the internet because of the developed technology. The bullying often occurs at school. Students who are being cyberbullied are often bullied in a person as well. Cyberbullying is different than the traditional bullying. Cyberbullying can happen any times and days in a week. The physical bullying usually brings with different between bullies and victims, and creates a target to bully. Cyberbullying is not easy to find out the aggressors and victim because of the anonymous or fake identity. The study and research in literature review have provided the important information about the gender who is the aggressor and who is victims. There were two studies that one was “Cyberbullying: Another main type of bullying” conducted by Smith and Slonje, and the other one was “Cyberbullying by mobile phone among adolescents: The role of gender and peer group status” conducted by Abeele and Cock. These two studies determined the relationship between aggressors and victims. Smith and Slonje illustrated that there were more than one-third people reported that they were cyberbullied by male. Abeele and Cock demonstrated that males were cyberbullied directly and females were cyberbullied indirectly. The first step is making the groups. I will take this study into a middle school and survey a random sample of students between the ages of 12 and 14. After the survey, the researchers will have to speak to each student asking their personal issues about being a cyberbully or be cyberbullied. Then the researchers break them into three groups that one of the group is aggressor, the other one is victim, and the last one is normal. The next step is observation. Each group has different kind of marks in each student. After that, the students will go back into their own classes. The researchers have to observe the activity of each group of students in classes and take notes if they have the same behaviors. At this movement, my purpose is that figure out the weakness of each victims, and the reason why aggressors cyberbullied others. Those factors are important and helpful for next step. The researchers will create those factors into the pie charts and each part of pie will show the percentage of each activity. The last step is prevention. We will create the presentation on stage in the auditorium. The presentation will illustrate two pie charts that why are those victims easy to be cyberbullied and why do those aggressors cyberbully others. Each pie chart has different factors. The higher percentage of factors on each pie chart will be most important for people to care and prevent because those factors determine if any students
