Change is something that presses us out of our comfort zone. Change is the only constant. It can
happen in any sphere of life. But the most predominant of all changes is Change in the
Organizations working methods.
What is Change Management ?
Change management is a structured approach to transitioning individuals, teams and

The growth in technology also has a secondary effect of increasing the availability and
therefore accountability of knowledge. Easily accessible information has resulted in
unprecedented scrutiny from stockholders and the media and pressure on management.
With the business environment experiencing so much change, organizations must then learn
to become comfortable with change as well. Therefore, the ability to manage and adapt to
organizational change is an essential ability required in the workplace today.

market share losses.
Organizational change directly affects all departments from the entry level employee to
senior management. The entire company must learn how to handle changes to the
organization.

model that was from Prosci, a management expert who formulated the Change Management
model.
Process of Change Management :
Change management is the application of a structured process and set of tools for leading the
people side of change to achieve a desired outcome.
Understanding:
Step 1: To prepare for change
The first step in this process is to do a thorough analysis of the areas where changes are to be
made. This can be done by identifying the strategy that is to be adopted and selecting the
personnel that would be engaged in this task. Once they have been decided , the necessary
approval from the Top Level Management can be obtained and with the ‘GO’ sign, the plan on
paper can be put to action.
Step 2: To effectively manage change
Once the strategies have been zeroed down, it is necessary to see that they have been
implemented at the right place and at the right time by making use of the available resources
optimally. There will be a lot of ideas when there is a brainstorming session and that time it is the
duty of the Employer in-charge to overlook the ideas and freeze on the most beneficial
Life is constantly changing, like clouds in the sky; always shifting and turning. People never really know which way life will turn next, bringing them fortune or failure. When you look at how things change it is best to compare it to something that you can relate it to. The changeable nature of life can be related to the novel 'The Bean Trees.' This is a book written almost entirely on dealing with changes in the characters lives.

Individuals and groups are influenced by change that is cataclysmic, whether it would be inevitable or voluntary. As discussed above, change can be seen as acceptance. Once one accepts this change it is adopted but one must live to fulfill it.
Change is a word that I have constantly heard throughout my high school years. It is a transformation through which everyone goes whether it's for the better or for the worse. For me the meaning and value of change has helped me to focus on the goals I have to accomplish. For others, it is simply just a phase we go through. All of us here have been able to learn and develop from our changes to be come a better and successful person.

My whole life, I have been presented to a single element called change. Change occurs in many different forms and is carried out in many different ways. However, just recently, I have come to the realization that change can be the deepest of all subjects. I always assumed that change occured when you moved to a new town or when you lost someone close to you. Those are elements to change, yes, but change doesn't have to occur over a single dramatic event. It can just happen overnight when your brain determines it's time to do something different.
The transformation of a company requires hundreds, sometimes thousands of employees to adopt a new view of its future, a future they must regard as essential. Change management involves managing the process of achieving this future state. Change can be viewed from two vantage points, that of the people making the changes and that of the people experiencing the changes. In the top-down, or strategic viewpoint associated with management, the focus is on technical issues such as the investment required, the processes for implementing the change, how soon the change can be realized, and the outcome. In the bottom-up viewpoint of the employee, the focus is on what the change means to the ...
Change indicates moving from one form to another. Originally this would be from the innate, original into something refined, something that is still a working progress eventually into the completed form.
In order for organizational change management to succeed in a highly competitive marketplace, it is important for organization to frequently figure out the need for introducing changes. Since organizational change management is more focused on the people side of management, one can decide how the goals will influence the person in reaching their greatest potential within an organization. So there are techniques that can be applied by simply making a chart, such as focusing on the possibilities of: 1) Directing one’s attention 2) Regulating one’s effort 3) Increasing one’s persistence 4) Encouraging the development of goal-attainment strategies or action plans. Using an approach like this might increase task performance making goal expectations more realistic.

This may lead to gaps where employees may not adapt to a certain change and therefore it is important that an organization takes into considerati...
Change can have many meanings. It is going from “same” to “different”. Change can be defined as an event that occurs when something passes from one state or phase to another and as a process of transition. The forces of change affect attitudes, beliefs and behavior. Not a single moment goes by when everything in our lives will remain the same. When you become adjusted to your surroundings, something changes again. Changes can affect both individuals and groups. Throughout our lives we go through many changes, especially in adolescence.
...owers to accept the change and followers work in accordance of organizational goals. As the goals met they feel proud and more satisfied.
The change process within any organization can prove to be difficult and very stressful, not only for the employees but also for the management team. Hayes (2014), highlights seven core activities that must take place in order for change to be effective: recognizing the need for change, diagnosing the change and formulating a future state, planning the desired change, implementing the strategies, sustaining the implemented change, managing all those involved and learning from the change. Individually, these steps are comprised of key actions and decisions that must be properly addressed in order to move on to the next step. This paper is going to examine how change managers manage the implementation of change and strategies used
