Carly Evans lived in Chicago, Illinois with her hard-working mom. Carly’s parents divorced when she was younger and she had to live with one parent the rest of her life. Due to the divorce, Carly became shy and more introverted. This led to her finding out about social media in a young age, specifically ten years old. Carly and her mom got to their condo and Carly saw an amazing view. The room was decently clean, with a carpet in the middle in the room, two beds separated by a small dresser with a lamp on top. Carly faced her bed and hopped onto it without hesitation. Carly was exhausted from the traveling and wanted to go to sleep on the spot. She then thought about what her new school would be like. She knew that she wasn’t the most talkative but would love to meet new people. The last thing she saw before she closed her eyes was her mom coming up to her and kissing her forehead while whispering, “Everything’s gonna be okay.” Two days has surprisingly past quickly and school was starting that day. Carly’s stomach filled with butterflies before she left. She first kissed her mom before leaving and promised to be safe. She arrived to her new high school. Carly first saw stairs that led to a big gate with the words, “Allyson Preparatory School.” She entered through big entrance doors and felt the fresh air conditioning on her face.
