When watching Forming Healthy Relationships, Sexual Assault, Stalking and Bystander Intervention you realize that real people have been victims of these crimes. You think you only her about these crimes on TV series. These crimes are a real problem in society and they can lead to other problems. Some people in the world do not take rejection lightly, this may lead to stalking. Stalking can come in many different forms. Stalkers come in many different forms as well. The person that you least expect can be stalking you. You have to learn that you cannot trust everyone. I think of stalking like identity theft once they have one little piece of information, they can make your life very uncomfortable. Bystander Intervention is a real problem as

well. People who by stand and don’t say anything because of fear I feel bad for. You should never let fear trump doing what’s right. You have to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. So many incidents could’ve been prevented if someone would have said something. Sexual Assault hits a little close to home. Since I have been attending VCU there have been multiple sexual assaults on campus. Some people say “Well women shouldn’t dress the way they do if they don’t want to send the wrong message.” I do not stand with this at all, A woman should be able to dress in whatever way makes her feel comfortable. Boys need to be taught that rape is okay nor will It ever be okay. They also need to learn that “no mean no” and that it makes you less of a man to take advantage of a woman. Being in a healthy relationship is extremely important. Women should make sure that their man is treating them right. We as women need to steer clear of abusive relationships. Remember that no matter what if he hits you once he will do it again. The saying “I’ll love you to death” has a lot of meaning behind it. Protect yourselves as women and protect your hearts. Never let a man treat you any less than the queen you are. You should never love a man more than you love yourself.
