Unit 30 - Task 1
Hardware’s
Graphics card – This is a computer hardware that makes up what you see on your monitor. It is essential that you have this hardware for the computer as it converts the data from your CPU, to a signal that makes the monitor understand what you want to see. If you were to have a really good graphics card, then the monitor will appear smoother and sharper. The images is created when the CPU receives the data from the software and then it works together with the graphics card to translate that data to what the monitor can understand. The calculations that the card has to go through, is first to make a wire frame out of the straight lines. Once it has done this it will move on to fill in the remaining pixels also known as rasterising. It would also as the colour, lighting and texture to the image. …show more content…

When the mouse is moved, it sends instruction to the processor, which then sends it over to the graphics card, to be then sent to the monitor, for you to interact with operating system. The way that it creates image, is that whatever you click on the screen such as an image file, it will pop up with that image, you can then use the mouse to control what you do with that image. It can be editing by cropping it, or using other software’s to do it with. If you had no mouse, then you would not be able to control what you do to your computer

Corel Draw – Is a computer design drawing program that can help with project from Illustration or logo creations. It allows you to make multi page marketing, eye catching signs or brochures. With this software, you are able to create shapes, work with texts, and add effects to images. You may also balance the colours of the image. Corel Draw also let you to convert bitmap images to a vector format, so that you can customise the image.
