Brandeis University is my fourth school of choice. The opportunity to study at Brandeis is compelling as they provide a unique musical program that is a good fit for my musical interest and career goals. Their Bachelor of Arts degree in music creates a broad based program combining the study of history, theory and performance, which allows me to strengthen my knowledge in a structured lab component to enhance my musical skills.
Listening, learning to create, and understanding more has always had intrinsic value to my life passions. Brandeis is a University that allows students to explore their passion within the context of their specialized areas in the music track program. After careful research I would welcome the additional opportunity
Stax Music Academy has helped shape the lives of thousands of young people. It is a non-profit school who not only teaches music, but also English, math, etc. Many students have emerged from there to go on to be nationally or even internationally known. (Stax Museaum)
The main component I look for in college is their commitment to further my studies. I feel this college will provide an ingenious culture within the science field, therefore rendering myself with the building blocks necessary to later pursue the medical field. Not only does UNCW devote itself towards their student’s undergraduate years, but also by providing Professional pathways such as Pre-Medicine, students such as myself can go into Professional schools better prepared. In addition to my interest in the academics the school has to offer, I also marvel at the amount of extracurricular activities available to the student body. One student organization in particular is the Greek Life. When my mother attended this school, she was an avid member
One reason Kealing Magnet Program would be a good fit for me is because I am a hard-working student who wants to get ahead and learn a lot. Another reason is because I want a challenging school, and Kealing Magnet is challenging, but also very helpful. I define a challenging school as a school with a lot of work. I want to apply to the McCallum Fine Arts Program for high school, and going to Kealing would give me knowledge and support in that. Being at Kealing would be a fun and accommodating opportunity, while also educating me. I want to both enjoy school and learn things, and Kealing would satisfy that for me. I have looked at the website and am looking forward to the piano in the choir in particular. I have been having piano lessons for about two years now, and that sounds like a fun activity for me.
Meyrovich, along with thousands of other young aspiring actors and musicians, was drawn to Boston for one of its many performing arts schools, which includes Berklee College of Music, The Boston Conservatory, and The New England Conservatory. But she, like so many others, realized that it might not be the best way to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
My perseverance has prepared me for a career in medicine. The path towards becoming a physician can be long and challenging, necessitating the ability to endure. My ability to bounce back from setbacks and mistakes has solidified throughout my journey. One of the cornerstone experiences of my personal development occurred during high school. My determination led to me my graduating as valedictorian of my class, while balancing three varsity sports and several extracurricular activities. In addition, I worked on weekends to help support my family financially. This persistence resulted in scholarship awards that made higher education a possibility.
There are a lot of reasons why I chose to pursue pharmacy as my career and they all point to the most important reason: pharmacy is a great fit for my life and is something I have become increasingly passionate about. It started when I was researching careers with my parents and my dad suggested pharmacy and, simply put, it sparked my interest because at the time it was one of the few things I thought I would not hate doing. A healthcare career has always been where I put myself in the future, mainly because most of my family members are in the healthcare field. However, I have never been one that could directly help the wounded or deal with anything gory, but am very intrigued by the growing science of pharmacy. As I continue exploring pharmacy, the more I enjoy learning about it and feel like I could excel in this career.
Soaked under sweat, I stood on the running machine, took a deep breath, and counted in my mind, one…two… three, GO! With renewed power and confidence, I started to run again with satisfaction. This moment happened every day in last summer at a gym and I lost 62pounds. Had persisted for five months, I am so proud of myself that I am able to achieve the goal of losing weight and established high self-discipline. In addition, I have gained great appreciation for the challenges. However, I also have grown up from this, on the other hand, frustrated experience. Not because the process of losing weight was painful, but because my by-product of the weight loss journey, my online team.
Music has always been an important part of my life. Upon entering the fifth grade, my parents bought me a flute, at my insistence. After moderate success playing the flute, I saw greener grass on the other side of the musical fence. Singing just had to be easier than making music with a long metal pipe. My perception and reality did not exactly match. Singing has its own subtleties and complexities which are not readily apparent to the casual observer. Abandoning the flute for singing, I began taking voice lessons in the tenth grade. My voice teacher was very experienced and encouraged me to pursue my interest in music beyond high school. After much deliberation, I decided to major in voice during college. This path would be fraught with unforeseen difficulties and exciting challenges.
With school budget cuts, and no music instruments, more and more people are beginning to realize the benefits of having music in education. Providing music as part of education helps develop intelligence that leads to greater success in school and in life. Everyone from VH1 Save The Music to The National Association For Music Education agree that, “Every student in the nation should have an education in the arts.” These two companies are doing everything they can to get out the information about music, and the importance of resorting music education as part of the core curriculum.
Music is knowledge, which will lead me to my own meaning of life. With the help of college, experience, and my own expression I hope to gain knowledge and wisdom. College is a process (among many others), which directs me to my next move in life. It is a step that I am obliged to take to gain a wider horizon of this world. One day I hope to apply all that I have learned to reach my goals and help others.
The college I would want to go to for this would be The Art Institute of chicago. They have a really good audio production and music production program and prepare for the world of music. I want to be a music producer/music artist because that’s all I love to do is make music. Music is the one thing I can use to express myself and vent my emotions.
Because of my varied work experience, I am able to offer strength and diversity to your program. Before attending the University of Northern Iowa, I was employed in the music industry, construction, restaurant management, and sales. I view these years as invaluable, as they have shaped my motives, compelled me to appreciate the need for goal orientation, and allowed me to experience the triumphs and frustrations of the "real" world. Consequently, I entered my college career with a strong sense of purpose.
I’ve been playing music since before I knew how to pronounce the word “music.” I started off with just a toy xylophone playing a song I made up for my mom’s friend, Meagan. That was how the “seed” was planted. Since then, my passion for music has grown. My parents and I have been watering that seed with piano lessons, learning from great musicians, playing in the school band, as well as other methods. Now, Idyllwild Arts Academy seems like the greatest opportunity for me to grow and learn even more. I believe that this school will give me what I need to go farther musically as well as academically.
Music has always been one of my passions in life. I have always loved to sing, listen to music as well as compose my own music. Every chance I get to let my emotions and feelings out, I usually end up singing, listening or composing music because it’s way for people to release. Anything that has to do with music would be a great career for me because music is a way some people’s escape route, whether it is emotions of being sad, happy, mad, joyful, etc. In my opinion, most music pieces have a meaning and it’s so beautiful. For these reasons and more, going to UCLA will help me pursue my goal in music history in the future. I think it will be exciting knowing the history of the hobbies I love. Although, not only will I learn about music history, but attending the University of California, Los Angeles will get the basic education and also have a chance to experience what life at college is like.
Given my career focus primarily on telecommunications, University of Maryland is, of course, an ideal f...
