Do you think Bill Gates is a hero for helping all those poor countries and making a multi-million company? Bill Gates was a hero because he was always giving colleges money to find cures and vaccines for health care problems. He also mad Microsoft and helped a lot of people fix computers and make software’s for new computers.
Gates was born on October 28, 1955 in Seattle, Washington. When Bill Gates was 13 he made is first computer program Bill Gates was also creator of Microsoft. When he was in the 7th grade he met a kid name Paul Allen. Both of them liked computer software and learning about computers. When they were older Bill and Paul co-founded Microsoft. After Paul left Microsoft Bill brought in a new guy to help run the business. Bill Gates later Married Melinda French a marketing executive at Microsoft. In 1975 Gates dropped out of Harvard and beginning his career in software design. At this time Gates and Allen co-founded Microsoft. By 1997 his worth was estimated at approximately $37 billion. Bill Gates and Melinda Gates decided to make a health foundation they would be giving money to poor countries and colleges. Since Bill Gates was very wealthy he gave Harvard’s health department a five-year, $20 million grant to study vitamins and mineral pills.

William “Bill” H. Gates was born on born on October 28, 1955 to William Henry Gates, Jr. and the late Mary Gates at Seattle Washington’s Swedish Hospital. Gates is the second born of three children; Kristi is the first-born, she is a year older then Bill, and Libby, is the third born and is nine years younger. Bill follows in his ancestral lineage by being a successful executive.
On October 28, 1955 William H. Gates III (nicknamed "trey") was born in Seattle. His father was a lawyer (William H. Gates II) and his mother was a schoolteacher. He also had two older sisters who were in high school when Bill was born. Bill attended a public elementary school before he moved to a private school in North Seattle named Lakeside. Lakeside's strong academics enabled Bill to actively get involved with computers (which were the love of his life next to baseball) and use his superior intellect. This was the beginning of a long and successful career in computers. Bill combined his intellect and visions of technology along with his active participation in may charities to make our world a better place.
Being the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates had already made millions of dollars while also becoming more and more famous for his work with computers. So it came as no surprise when he took over his father’s previous foundation called the William gates Foundation and renaming it the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation in 1997. Quickly donations were made to many universities and colleges such as the University of Washington. They were awarded a donation of twelve million dollars. The Gates Foundation also contributed two million dollars to the Seattle Area YMCA, twenty million dollars to the Seattle Public Library, and one million dollars to the Tacoma Art Museum. The Gates also devised plans to improve public education as well as attacking global issues. The effects of randomness are continually addressed by the author through the description of events that he believes can be chalked up to elements of randomness whether it be a tech entrepreneur rising to the richest man in the world or the success of an actor based of of one role. When IBM initially approached Gates with a request to develop an OS for the IBM PC he declined and referred them to another person and he then declined and Gates developed the OS and from there began what would make him the wealthiest man on earth.

So here I present you the path that gave us the Bill Gates we have today. Firstly, Bill Gates was fortunate enough to be born in a fine and educated family, where his parents were an educator and a lawyer. He had the privilege to all the essential necessities, such as clothing, food, and water sources which many other kids do not have. More than that, his family was wealthy enough to buy him toys and games and other things which would be far too extravagant to others. These small things created a stronger foundation for Bill Gates’

In addition, since Bill Gates is one of the wealthiest people in the world, he can donate a lot more money than regular people can to charities.
