So, reasons why I love Bigbang or a particular member…There’s really no particular reason I must say. These five guys have a particular charm to them; Something that average idols don’t have. It’s not swag or an act. They are just… themselves. They bare all and work their hardest. There was this once when they even got hospitalized for working too hard. It was around their debut. And it was almost 7 years ago. Our boys had really came a long way don’t you think?
I was not VIP till the beginning of this year. It was around April I think. When Fantastic Baby was hot in the 2012, I paid exactly 0% interest in them. I thought they were try hards and just one time wonders. I never liked K-Pop either. But I was forced into this; since my friends are die hard K-Pop lovers. I despised GD’s hair, TOP’s head cocking, Taeyang’s shirt (He should remain shirtless all the time), Daesung’s tuft of blonde hair covering his eye and Seungri trying to be sexy. But it was the heat back then; I can’t help but to follow.
During the beginning of this year, I started watching Running Man. I was introduced to the world of K in a different light. I never knew Koreans can be this fun, this creative. I started listening to LeesSang and also Kim Jong Kook. And then like any other fan girls, I started reading fan fiction. But there were not a lot of Running Man fan fictions. So one day, I stumbled across a story about Jiyong. It was a translated version. But...

...ave discovered this awesome group of artists and also their fandom. VIPs are actually calm and more rational thinking than some other fandoms. They’re friendly as well. I have made friends all around the world just by being a VIP. It’s awesome isn’t it? How 5 men can unite us all without really doing anything except making music.
“The most important songs that have moved the world forward have been songs about love. If we can all come together… we can make a world of difference.”
-Stevie Wonder during MAMA 2013
His speech reminded me of Bigbang. This fandom, has united us all regardless of age, religion and also location. I’m thankful for having these 5 as my motivation. They made me realize my dreams and also made me move forward. They brightened up my day with their voices. I love Bigbang and the fandom! I can proudly say that I’m a VIP and forever will be one.
things like the fans' behavior, the general style of the band, and most importantly, the
Music can be traced back into human history to prehistoric eras. To this day archeologists uncover fragments of ancient instruments as well as tablets with carved lyrics buried alongside prominent leaders and highly influential people. This serves as a testament to the importance and power of music, as well as its influence in society. Over its many years of existence, music’s powerful invocation of feelings has allowed it to evolve and serve many purposes, one being inspiring change. American journalist and author Hunter S. Thompson once said, “Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel.” This fuel is the very things that powers the influence of Rock ‘n’ Roll on American society, that author Glenn C. Altschuler writes about in his book, “All Shook Up – How Rock ‘n’ Roll Changed America.” Between 1945 and 1965 Rock ‘n’ Roll transformed American society and culture by helping to ease racial integration and launch a sexual revolution while most importantly developing an intergenerational identity.
seemed to enjoy the speech. Homer Hickam mostly talked about his book Rocket Boys from
The album begins with the hard-rocker “Come Together”. The song is a perfect example of John Lennon’s rock influence in the Beatles. “Come Together” is a song that’s popularity has been revived due to its appearances in many commercials. Its trademark chorus, “Come together right now over me”, is known just about everywhere. Ringo’s heavy drums and John’s deep poetic lyrics drive the song, while Paul’s voice and George’s sharp guitar contribute to the body of this song. John Lennon was well known for his creative lyrics. His mind provided lyrics for such insightful songs such as “Across the Universe” and “A Day in the Life”.
Music is regarded as a method of passing a message. Though some songs do not intend to do that, the message in them is still perceived. The song, “Get up, ...
For many of us, one of the most accurate and effective ways to express the feelings that really matter to us is through music. We don’t only grow to attached to songs that are catchy, but also those with lyrics that we can relate to. It is not uncommon to feel like sometimes, artists can convey the way we feel better than we could ourselves. The storybook-like lines you read at the start of this page are a collection of lyrics
Bob Marley expresses his belief that music is a message and route to freedom in the song “Trench town.”
“No law is gonna change us We have to change us Whatever God you believe in We come from the same one” Love shouldn’t have any law you should love however you want no matter what anyone says. No law is going to change us we have to change us before a law does. And no matter God you come from everyone is created and loved the same. “Strip away the fear Underneath it 's all the same love, about time that we raised up” Don’t be afraid from who you are embrace everything about yourself because we are perfect in Gods eyes because he put everyone on this plant for a reason. Also Macklemore states that it’s about time someone brought up this dilemma about gay people being discriminated for being
You know him as the singer, the dancer, and the song writer. As the famous Artist whose words were often binary. As a man that was regarded with much adulation and scrutiny for singing and acting with audacity. The one and only, Michael Joseph Jackson, well known performer and the producer of many great songs, as well as the inventor of the moonwalk. Jackson often released songs that had powerful messages behind them e.g. 'We Are the World' and “Black and White”. Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” released as part of the “HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I” album in 1996, was addressed to “the people” in an effort to promote equality, justice, and peace. However, it led to unexpected controversy
...e behind the song is that all we need is love, and The Beatles were urging people to understand that peace was the best option. The Beatles like many other artists who wrote antiwar songs know that writing a song is a non-violent way of protesting, and still gets the message across that the war needs to end. Music is a universal language, and it is one of the most effective ways to spread messages.
There are certain qualitative and quantitative factors that a band must fulfill in order to be considered in the running for such a title as the best rock band of the 2000s. For instance, the easiest way to target a bands success is to evaluate their awards and the accumulative amount of sales that they have received. Money is always a good measurement of worth because typically the more sales that a band has the more supporters the...
However, in order to archive a bigger market share in the global world, the Korean music industry itself decided to take it to an upper level. To overcome the cultural barrier and attract more oversea supporters, the K-pop groups are welcome to keep its singer’s nationality diversity. For example, the girl group “Twice” debuted last year was formed by five Korean members, three Japanese members, and one Taiwanese member.[ ] Adding different nationality members of a band group is helping the group to enter the particular market since they clearly have a language advantage over other competitors and have some kind of emotional or cultural similarities can be used to appeal to oversea fans. At the same time, producing K-pop music is also a process of global sourcing. Such as Girls’ Generation’s song “Genie” was arranged by Yu Yeong-jin, a Korean musician, but it was composed by Design Group from Europe and choreography by a Japanese- American dancer called Rino Nakasone Razalan.[ ] This kind of international cooperation does not only improve the quality of K-pop music products but also make sure the music will be more acceptable to a wider market
After the show had ended, I felt slightly empty. I had waited years and months for that night, and it was over in the blink of an eye. Although I was sad that the show was over, I felt completely content. Now, when I hear their songs, I get to remember what it felt like to hear the band perform them live. I can watch the videos and try to wrap my mind around how it was real. Going to my first concert was an unparalleled experience that I will always cherish. The ambiance, the band’s performance and the unity the audience
