Bhutan is a small Himalayan in the kingdom of Bhutan. The rich and unique traditional values and cultures are the protector and security for the people living in this region (Collins, 2012). The traditional values are based on the Buddhist culture such as honesty, compassion, harmony, and the self discipline. Although Bhutanese people have respect for their cultures and values, however the materialist possession has affected the Bhutanese traditional values and costumes in the field of traditional music, culture of eating and national sports. Due to the growing desire for the materialist possession in a Bhutanese society it has led to the degradation of Bhutanese traditional songs and music (Dorji, 2012). Bhutan has a unique traditional music The traditional way of eating in the family member sits on the floor in round with all the members is no more seen now a days, it has been replaced by the western culture (Impacts of culture on the Bhutanese society, 2013). Today Bhutanese eating habit has been transmitted in most part of the urban areas and some in the rural region, the traditional culture of eating is substituted with table and chairs. Even the cooking utensils has been replaced with the foreigner products, each family in the Bhutanese society opt for modern way of eating (Tourism, n.d). The good values in the family waiting for the presences of all member at meals is not practiced today’s life, sharing of feelings, elder giving advice to the younger’s and such interaction among family at meals has been lots its values and no more considered as important in the society. Each family member leads their own way of living, with the transitioning of the time the Bhutanese traditional cultures and values are declining. While the traditional Bhutanese family multigenerational, family units today seems to decreasing in size. This impact is seen more in the urban than the rural area, which results that the changes in the living standard of the Bhutanese people begins from urban to rural (Collins,
