Bermuda triangle
Have you ever heard of the Bermuda triangle before? Maybe you’ve heard some stories that might suggest it may be something alien controlling the unusually high rate of airplane and boat crashes in the area. The Bermuda triangle is somewhat of a mythical area in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. Many people believe that this area has a paranormal or extraterrestrial side to it, do to the unusually high crash rate. But others believe that its just a coincidence.
First, lets start with some theories that people have about the Bermuda triangle. First theory, the Bermuda triangle is some part of extraterrestrial life. Some people believe that aliens have picked the triangle as a place to capture people who travel in the area to do test on them. This theory is defiantly one of the most evident lacking ones. There basically is none.
The next theory is the Methane Gas Theory, “a large amount of methane gas is known to exist below the ocean floor trapped in the sediments in form of methane hydrates. If such gas finds its way out and starts rising through the water, it can significantly reduce the density of water in that area. And ships passing over that area can sink in no time. Such gas release can also create explosions and

saturate the atmosphere with methane gas causing planes to crash.” So this theory is defiantly one that anyone could believe, it has plenty of evidence to support its case. Plus it doesn’t have anything that unexplainable. Like the first theory about the aliens. Another theory is that the airplanes and ships just got turned around do to the slight difference in true north and a compasses north.
“magnetic and absolute North are not the same. Which means that the north where a compass points and the absolute geographic north which is the north pole are different. So ships need to make adjustment for this difference to keep to the right direction. But in Bermuda Triangle, there is a narrow strip where both these North's become the same. Some claim that such Compass Variation could have been the cause for fatal accidents as ships failed to determine the correct direction.” So what this means is that this place can confuse even the most trained pilot or
captain. Another crazy but popular theory is that its all the because the lost city of Atlantis. “The Atlantis story talks about some under water rock formations on the ocean floor which is known as the Bimini Road. These rocks are located near the coast of Bimini island in the Bahamas. Famous psychic Edgar Cayce once predicted that eventually this city of Atlantis will be discovered and the Bimini Road will be found. In fact researchers did find stones and other formations in this area in 1968, but called them natural occurring.” So if these rocks are actually the cities roads then the story also talks about how the city had advanced technology. “The legend says that the city of Atlantis heavily depended on some special energy crystals which were extremely powerful. Those crystals radiated huge amounts of energy (also known as death rays) and caused the navigational instruments of passing ships and airplanes to malfunction. As a result they would have been lost or sometimes get completely destroyed by the sheer power of the energy.”
What really happened over the summer in 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico? People have debated this topic countless times. Despite all of the deviations of what happened, there is a general timeline. Sometime during the months of June and July 1947, an aircraft landed in Mac Brazel’s ranch; Brazel proceeded to tell Sheriff George Wilcox. He sent a member of the Roswell Army Air Field base to look at the wreckage on Brazel’s ranch. This person took some of the debris back to the base for further inspection. On July 8, 1947, the newspapers published stories about how someone found a flying saucer in New Mexico. However, the government told the newspapers to report that it was merely a weather balloon that had crashed. After that, everybody simply accepted the story and dropped the topic. Throughout that story, many pieces of evidence went untold to the media. There were numerous pictures that went unreleased. Many affidavits went unnoticed and nobody paid attention to inconsistencies in the government’s justifications. Because of explicative photographs, several eyewitness accounts, and contradictory government explanations, there is extensive proof that the government concealed an alien landing in Roswell, New Mexico.
In the scholarly journal, “The Bermuda Triangle Mysteries: An Explanation Based on the Diffraction of Heat Waves (2000)”, physicist Ernest C. Njau claims that the mysteries noted in the Bermuda region may be accounted by the Eastward-moving heat waves along the Earth’s surface as they cause changes in the weather and ocean patterns that could play a big role in the disappearances over the Bermuda Triangle. Njau provides the readers with another credible possibility that could be responsible for the disappearances and mysterious lost ships and planes in the Bermuda region in order to prove that paranormal phenomena may not be the cause behind these sudden disappearances. The research cited explains that the Eastward-moving heat waves along the Earth’s surface “to a large extent, account for the mysteries already noted in the Bermuda region” (Njau). In the academic journal, “Hydrates Represent Gas Source, Drilling Hazard”, senior researcher in geology and associate professor Elchin Bagirov and senior geophysicist Ian Lerche, purport that the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle can actually be explained by the phenomenon of hydrate crystals ruling out paranormal phenomenon. Bagirov and Lerche cite a variety of diagrams that they claim show the special properties of hydrate crystals and their effects to indicate their relationship with the mysterious disappearances of ships and aircraft in the Bermuda Triangle. The authors provide a scientific and rational explanation for the numerous mysteries of missing ships and aircraft in the Bermuda Triangle in order to persuade the readers that the mysteries surrounding the Bermuda Triangle can be explained by actual scientific
There are many conspiracies that people say have happened at the Roswell crash in the summer of 1947 in Roswell New Mexico. Nobody knows what really happened at the crash in Roswell New Mexico but, many people say that the thing that had crashed there was a UFO and or a flying saucer which mean there being aliens. Even after 50 years the people still do not know what happened and for everybody that doesn’t know were going to go deeper into what really happened. This incident had caused a lot of chaos with the Air force and the people.
The Triangle based on the Triangle Waist Company Factory fire that took place on March 21, 1911 in New York City. Unlike Out of This Furnace the Triangle a true story that focus on the work condition of female immigrant workers who worked in a sweat-house in unsafe condition. At the time of the fire, this started on the eighth floor of the building. The owners of the Triangle Shirtwaist Company locked all the exit doors to assure that the worker may not leave or enter the factory ...
Some time in July of 1947, a mysterious flying object zigzagged across the skies of New Mexico. Within twenty-four hours the object disappeared from radar just as mysteriously as it had appeared. It was last seen in a small town in the middle of the Arizona desert, it’s name, Roswell.
The Bermuda Triangle (the Devil’s Triangle), is a stretch of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by a line from Florida, to the islands of Bermuda, to Puerto Rico and then back to Florida. It is well known for all the mysterious things that happen within it. It got its name from a news article written by VIncent H. Gaddis in 1964. He claimed that in that part of the Atlantic ocean, a large amount of ships and planes have went missing without any explanation. He wasn’t the first to claim something about that area, but he gave it the name. The first major story about the Bermuda Triangle was when the USS Cyclops went missing in 1911. It is the most famous ship lost in the Bermuda Triangle. It served has a collier for the U.S Navy during World War 1. It was on its way from Bahia, Salvador to Baltimore, Maryland. The ship never made it to Baltimore. The ship could have sunk anywhere between Baltimore and Bahia. It is not proven to have sunk in the Bermuda Triangle, but that was the area they had said it sunk in.
Who kidnapped Charles Lindbergh’s infant son is a question that remains a mystery even today. What really happened on the evening of March 1, 1932 at the Lindbergh estate in Hopewell, New Jersey has been a subject of discussion for more than seventy five years. It is true that one man, Bruno Richard Hauptmann was arrested, tried, convicted, and executed for the kidnapping and murder of the Lindbergh baby. However, there have been so many suspects, investigations, conspiracy theories, and corruption surrounding the disappearance and murder of Charles A. Lindbergh Jr.; it is difficult to pin the crime on just one individual. With researching the Lindbergh Case, I scoured through numerous websites with information on the case, I recall seeing
The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, is the cause of many unexplained disappearances that happened within its boundary. One of the many mysteries of the triangle is Flight 19. Five Avenger planes vanished without even a single trace. What happened to Flight 19, did aliens actually abduct the planes? Or is there another explanation as to how they disappeared?
“‘The ‘Bermuda Triangle’, or ‘Devil’s Triangle’, is a mythical geographic area’, states a fact sheet issued by the U.S. Coast Guard” (Gaffron 17). One of the most influential groups in the United States believes that the Bermuda Triangle is only a myth. “Most rational explanations for the incidents in the Bermuda Triangle, including the explanations given by the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, include human error and environmental effects” (Obringer). The U.S. Navy has lost quite a few ships in the Bermuda Triangle region and believe that the reason behind those disappearances involved either human or technical difficulties. “Plane ditchings or explosions in flight may result from many causes; lack of visible evidence being explained by the truism that ‘It’s a big ocean’” (Berlitz 6) The reports from the people that actually lost lives believe in that something bad but normal happened which is a sound explanation for the
So there may have or have not been a splitting of the ship that led to a total structural failure that ultimately sank the ship. Given what we know about The Devil’s Triangle today, one may very well conclude that it was the not a natural disaster, given the notoriety of The Devil’s Triangle. So during all this time and while we speculate the unknown and search the deep mysteries . The Bermuda Triangle has claimed countless lives even though the reason is unknown. This unnatural occurrence of unexplained crashes is fact not fiction, not believing in the unknown is what got the Bermuda triangle ignored into the past today. This Phenomenon is not something that can be ignored its something that must be lived in order to be able to see the truth. I firmly believe that the Bermuda is real and it is not done claiming lives not now ,nor in the future. The Devil’s triangle has always been in front of us and we haven’t even notice the unexplained unnatural phenomenon. Our society has never paid attention to this phenomenon, we turn a blind eye on this just saying it’s just a mythical rumor. Then again out of no where the Devil’s Triangle has proven time and time again to be one of the world’s most bewildering phenomenons keeping all of America on our toes. As we
In the final analysis, the two prominent theories involving the mystery of Roswell, New Mexico crash are Ufos and weather balloons. Many Ufologists say that the debris was from alien origin. In contrast there's scientists who say it was a weather balloon. Either way the mystery behind the Roswell crash will always be a mystery. From the sky and beyond know one will ever know what really happened that
This is an area where countless amounts of ships and or planes are said to have vanished due to odd conditions that nobody can confirm. In fact, over 1000 lives have been lost, 50 ships, and 100 airplanes have vanished here within just the last 100 years. There is large amounts of theories and reasons people have come up with to describe this phenomenon but the three most plausible ones are Methane gases being released into the water, lowering the buoyancy, electromagnetic fields messing with any electrical equipment and compases, or causing ‘time travel’, as well as natural causes such as weather. The area within the Triangle is one of the most often traveled shipping lanes and flight patterns in the world. I don’t personally believe there is any singular answer to what actual happens within the Bermuda region, but I do believe that it is a joint operation of many different factors depending on the situation at hand. As long as those theories exist, the Bermuda Triangle will remain a source of fascination and mystery until science proves

...compasses to go haywire. Even less logical explanations such as alien attacks or particles from the city of atlantis affecting the magnetic field, exist, and are believed by some people. Other theories such as pirates, time vortexes, and methane hydrates are also thought to be a cause(http://adventure.howstuffworks.com/bermuda-triangle8.htm).
The Bermuda Triangle is a whirlpool of mysterious occurrences where things have magically disappeared without any remains and no matter how many theories scientists come up with to solve the mysteries of this enchanted island, none come close to having answers for any incident that occurred on this island. On November 3, 1945, the Bermuda triangle first grasped the attention of many people with one mysterious event. Flight 19, an aircraft which was out on a 3 hour training session, fully fueled and equipped with five highly experienced aviators, went missing and was never to be heard of again (McDonell of 9). The three hour training session started in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and was due 150 miles east, 40 miles north and then was told to return to the base; unfortunately that did not happen (McDonell 1 of 9). During the training session, the aviators both back up compass and compass malfunctioning, making their locations a mystery to them and lost to the world for two hours.
