2: The Fig. 2: The Fig. 3: The Fig. 1. Belle Gunness and her children (Female) In January of 1908, a man named Andrew Helgelien left to visit Gunness. Mr. Helgelien took out all of his money and gave it to Gunness. Several days later, he disappeared. When Mr. Helgelien did not return home to South Dakota, his brother Asle Helgelien sent a letter to Gunness questioning Andrew Helgelien's whereabouts. She responded that Andrew Helgelien withdrew all his money to go to Norway ("Female Serial Killer Belle Gunness"). Gunness sent Asle Helgelien a letter inviting him out to the farm to see if he could find where his brother went. During this time, Ray Lamphere fell in love and wanted to marry Gunness. He got jealous, which caused problems for Gunness, so she fired him based on trespassing. In February of 1908, she hired Joe Maxson. Gunness knew Asle Helgelien and Ray Lamphere would be a problem. She would later go to a lawyer and say that Ray Lamphere threatened to kill her and burn down her house. Afterward, she made her will, leaving the estate to her children. Maxson awoke to smoke in the early hours of April 28, 1908. He tried to find Gunness and her kids but to no avail; he was forced to leave the house and run to get help ("Belle Gunness"). Help arrived, but by this, the house was nothing but smoldering ruins (BE1). Belle Gunness Resolution It seems Gunness's crimes have started to come after her, and her timeline of crime was coming to an end; many of her victims follow a similar pattern. Many of the suitors who came to the farm would withdraw most, if not all, of their money and give it to Gunness (Dillon). The family members of these men would never hear from their loved ones ever again. They would question Gunness, and she would say she knew the men, but they left. None of the men told others where they were going, probably a request from Gunness not to tell anyone where they were going. Strangely, the people of La Porte never grew suspicious of Gunness,

What is it like to live a life with Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD)? Narcissism is a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy. People with this disorder can be vindictive, selfish, cunning person. They do not care who is harmed or hurt. Abigail was the leader of all of the girls that were seen dancing and calling on evil spirits. Abigail would threaten the girls by saying if they said anything, she would kill or harm them severely. She wanted what she couldn’t have, so that made her psychologically unstable. Abigail William’s would be convicted in today’s court because she gave many threats to kill the girls who were with her the night they were dancing if they spoke up in court, her behavior caused harm to many even though she may not have physically done damage herself and due to previous court cases, some people diagnosed with Narcissism were found innocent due to their mental instability but others were guilty because they were mentally unstable. As it is shown, Narcissistic Personality Disorder causes her to be selfish, arrogant, dangerous, and obsess over the man she could not have, because Abigail threatened the girls she was with the night they were dancing, to not confess to anything in court.
For a long time, women’s potential in Science was little to none. However, over the years, it has now changed because of the outstanding breakthroughs and encouraging accomplishments women have done through the years. It is because of them, women’s potential in Science and other realms of studies has now evolved with more understandings and discoveries. It is for the reason of Maria Mitchell, one of the first female astronomers to be recognized in Science, that women’s potential were essentially respected. Her discoveries during her time as a student, a teacher, and an astronomer paved the way for many others, not just in Science, but also for woman’s rights and potential to be seen.

There were some things about her killings that remained consistent and other things that did not. One consistency was that her victims were all vulnerable, white, males, ranging in ages from 40 to 65. She picked her victims in a rather systematic why in that she lured them in by faking car troubles as a means to get the to stop and help her or by picking them up as “johns”. Her method of killing was consistent throughout each murder with the use of the .22 caliber handgun that took each victim’s life. While each victim was shot by the same weapon, the number of times they were shot and the locations in which they were shot all varied. After killing her victims, she would then rob them for their cars, money, and any other possession she could find. If she decided not to take the victim’s vehicles, she would then separate the dead bodies from the vehicles, making it more difficult to be caught by police. Police reported that some bodies were found naked, while others were not. However, she typically left her victims lying in the woods or along the interstate throughout five different counties in

The British Empire was a period of , but it was only this way due to their imperialistic views and the exploitation of people within the Empire. Even though the British Imperialism of the late 19th century/early 20th century brought great wealth, knowledge, and technological advancements, but at the expense of others. Scientists and social scientists created many sciences, including social Darwinism, eugenics, phrenology, and polygenism. Many historians have argued whether or not these sciences were proposed in order to justify the British Empire or not. These pseudo-sciences were constructed to rationalize the imperialism during the 19th century. This paper
