Introduction In the year of 1775 through the year of 1783, the Revolutionary War was going on in America. The meaning of being American is like what we know now, but can be a little bit different from what we think being American meaning is. Being an American at the time of the Revolutionary War was the fight for the freedom that they rightfully deserved and for religious freedom. Even though they ended up making a mess of it, by having the same things that the British did. Like having the witch trials and so much more that many don’t really realize. Now being an American is one of the things that was important at the time, but also the American value as well that we follow to this day. The American value was one of the reasons for why people came to America, even if it’s not that strong today. American value, as many know, is freedom, equality, family, religion, education, and independence justice. These are the main values that goes for America, but there are many more. Some will even say that this is one of many for being an American is to go by these values. As time went by, these values have gotten stronger, but they have also gotten weaker. Well there are many ways to go off of this and many opinions of these, but in my opinion is simple. This world and the United States of America has been using advice from him and from others. On the day and after the day of nine eleven, America, along with others, stand together and get through it. Today and years before we have people who are out there fighting a war that people hardly talk about at the moment unless there’s one who pay attention to it or have an family member fighting right now.
