Bearded Dragons The real-life dragons of modern day are the fascinating creatures called Bearded Dragons. Everyone who knows a bit about reptiles has probably heard of the Bearded Dragon. This is because the Bearded Dragon is one of the most common kept pet reptile. They are pretty easy keep and widely available in pet stores and breeders. There will be information about what their adaptations to the wild are, how they evolved over time, and what their impact on society is. The Bearded Dragon has many adaptations to their environment. One of them is that they have spikes and rough scales all over their body. This helps them survive because

If climate change continuous it will make the wild Bearded Dragon go extinct in the wild. Which will lead to a long term impact to the ecosystem. The temperature determines whether a Bearded Dragon egg becomes female or male. If it is cooler the baby Bearded Dragon egg will become female, and if it is warmer the baby Bearded Dragon egg will become male. With humans who are putting more and more Carbon into the world the weather becomes hotter. That has many effects which includes that almost all the Bearded Dragons are now becoming male, which means they are not be able to reproduce at a normal rate until climate change stops. If the Bearded Dragon does go extinct it would be a bit of a shame to human society because it has survived many different obstacles through history, it lived when the dinosaurs were on earth. Another major impact it has on the ecosystem is that the Bearded Dragons eat insects and plants and feed the predators, if they can get the Bearded Dragons. In the places where the Bearded Dragons live there is just enough food for all animals to sustain themselves. So if the Bearded Dragon goes extinct in the wild all animal species that are a predator to the Bearded Dragon may go extinct too. An impact the Bearded Dragon has on society is that “it teaches people about reptiles and it helps study the reptiles, and dinosaurs because reptiles very closely related to dinosaurs.” As the owner of the company Atomic Lizard Ranch
(blackdrago.com) “Dragon images have been found on the Ishtar Gate of Babylon, on scrolls from China, in Egyptian hieroglyphs and Ethiopian sketches, on the prows of Viking ships, in bas relief on Aztec temples, on cliffs above the Mississippi River and even on bones carved by Inuits in climates where no reptile could live.” (McNeil) Stories of dragons can be found all through history. Over five thousand years ago, ancient Sumerian cultures had dragon legends in their religions. Modernly, few still believe dragons exist, they can still be found in our movies, books and video

Dragons lie in the realm of fantasy; legendary creatures who are deeply rooted in magic and have captivated audiences for centuries. The depiction
Constellations have helped many people for many years. Draco the Dragon is by far the coolest constellation in the sky. The things that make draco the dragon interesting is the facts and myths.
Komodo Dragons are being forced to attack and eat humans. Are humans becoming their new Happy Meal? This is a common thought in Indonesia, however it may be overstated and certainly is not a happy subject. Actually, the Komodo Dragon faces many challenges in food supply, and loss of habitat, that may be causing them to harm local villagers, and with a few changes, this may be prevented.
Earth’s average temperature has increased about 0.8 degrees Celsius since 1880 and another degree could cause even more problems than there already are. Climate change is an important issue to be aware of because it is real and it affects you and the things around you each and every day. Every day animals lose habitats and die because climate change caused there home to burn, or their food sources started to deplete, etc. Along with these, more and more CO2 is being released into the air due to wildfires burning which is causing the atmosphere to heat even more. With the temperature increasing the oceans will become warmer and evaporation and rainfall patterns will change which will affect humans and animals, because we all work together in a system. There are many consequences of climate change like human health issues, and more animals becoming endangered, but the most important consequence is the rising amounts of wildfires.
Dragons are very popular mythical beings because they are capable of flying, swimming, and walking on land. This makes a Dragons attack much easier because he can exploit the weaknesses of his victims by using earth’s natural elements earth, air, fire, and water. Dragons have sharp teeth and a tongue shaped like an arrow. These creatures can breathe fire, but some cultures believed they spit ice or another venomous substance. All a dragons power is in its long, scaly tail.
Another important part of Japanese mythology are dragons. Japanese dragon mythology is based from imported stories from Korea, India and China. Dragons are serpentine creatures with clawed feet; they have three claws on each foot. They are large and wingless. Most Japanese dragons are associated with bodies of water and rainfall. They are considered as water deities.
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to have a one and a half foot lizard as a pet? It probably seems peculiar but many people find that lizards make great pets. One lizard that is incredibly cool is the bearded dragon. Bearded dragons come from the deserts of Australia and were first introduced to the United States in the 1990s. Bearded dragons can range from 12-24 inches, and usually live 12-14 years. They are called bearded dragons because when they feel threatened, they puff out their throat to scare the predator off. They also produce venom, but don’t worry, it’s not poisonous to humans.
Throughout the old world, people had feared creatures with the body of a large lizard, snake-like eyes, large wings, and that can emit fire from their mouth. They was thought to be the embodiment of evil, greed, lust, violence, and the dark side of humanity. These mythical creatures are called dragons, but the dragon have a different reputation in the Eastern world. In China it was highly respected in the kingdom, a fairly common motif in eastern art for its heavenly related background.
Overall climate change is going to continue, we might not be able to stop it but we sure can slow it down and if we can slow it down we will be able to keep many amenities that we need and keep most of our ecosystems safe. Animals are a huge part in human society and once we realize we are damaging their environment and by damaging their environment we are risking losing the essentials we need to survive. Humans need to reduce the use of carbon emissions and by doing that will greatly increase the chances of slowing down rapid climate fluctuations.

Dragons and literature In the world there are a lot of mythical creatures that we know about. One creature that stands out from the rest is the dragon. We see these creatures in books, movies and on television.
Climate change is one of the major issues surfacing on Earth over the past century. The earth’s temperature has increased over the years, leading to detrimental effects on the economic and life sources of people, especially that of agricultural production and livestock. The Merriam-Webster online dictionary (2014), defined climate change as a change in global climate patterns apparent from the mid late 20th century. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, IPCC, (2007) predicts that by 2100 the increase in global average surface temperature may be between 1.8° C and 4.0° C. With increases of 1.5° C to 2.5° C, approximately 20 to 30 percent of plant and animal species are expected to be at risk of extinction. Moreover, the IPCC (2007) purported that climate change has severe consequences for food security in developing countries.
Birds are a species that will be affected by a change in the climate. Global warming might result in birds finding a more permanent home in northern areas of the Northern Hemisphere. The ecosystems of fish will be affected by global warming in a variety of ways. The chemical composition of water could be changed.
