Earth’s average temperature has increased about 0.8 degrees Celsius since 1880 and another degree could cause even more problems than there already are. Climate change is an important issue to be aware of because it is real and it affects you and the things around you each and every day. Every day animals lose habitats and die because climate change caused there home to burn, or their food sources started to deplete, etc. Along with these, more and more CO2 is being released into the air due to wildfires burning which is causing the atmosphere to heat even more. With the temperature increasing the oceans will become warmer and evaporation and rainfall patterns will change which will affect humans and animals, because we all work together in a system. There are many consequences of climate change like human health issues, and more animals becoming endangered, but the most important consequence is the rising amounts of wildfires.

Health issues are one of many important consequences of climate change because as the temperature fluctuates, there is an increase and decrease in the surrounding plants, when their are more plants there is an increase in illnesses.

According to documents E and F pollen seasons are lengthening, therefore more pollen is able to be produced during the seasons since they are longer. This is an allergenic part of plants that are causing people to have more reactions especially if they suffer from asthma, hay fever, and any allergies. Climate change is not only increasing pollen production, but also other allergenic plants. These longer allergy seasons are an important consequence of climate change because it is putting more and more people's health at

risk.
Another important consequence of climate change is the increasing numbers of animals becoming endangered. African Elephants, for example, may drink 225 liters of water a day, with the weather becoming warmer they will have to search further for water because climate change could cause a decrease in rainfall and increase in droughts. They will be risking their lives on their search for water because they will have to travel to less protected areas. Climate change is changing the sources and amounts of certain sources found in forest environments these changes are causing animals to lose some of what they are living off of which is causing them to become endangered, this is an important consequence of climate change.
Out of all the consequences of climate change, the most important one is the increasing amounts of wildfires, which lead to even bigger issues. Boreal forests, and tundra biomes are more likely to catch fire because climate change is creating a rich peat dry soil. Though, it is not only these areas, many other areas will also experience an increase of wildfires which will not be good for the environment nor the atmosphere. Wildfires are also taking away animal shelters/habitats which puts animals in a poor situation, trying to relocate. Relating back to our first cause it can also affect health since more CO2 is being released. This is climate change's biggest consequence because it holds smaller consequences within it and wildfires can cause bigger problems too. When these wildfires burn more CO2 is released into the atmosphere to causing it to heat even more.
Climate Change has had a major impact on the planet in many different and important ways. Such as, causing more health issues for people, a decrease in animal populations, and an increase in wildfires. It is important to know and understand that these things are happening due to climate change so we can further investigate, and start coming up with solutions, before things become worse.
