The reason why Malaysian Badminton Teams can be lost to Indonesian Badminton Teams also can be influenced by their physical fitness for each players from both countries. The physical fitness can also can be influenced by a few factors such as how they did the physical exercise, their diets or meals before the game and training that have been provided. Based on the competition video between Malaysia against Indonesia, we analysed that the team were lacking in exercise. In more detail about this factor, they weren’t being given enough exercise or training before the game begin. When they don’t have enough training, so their stamina will be decreased (Connolly, 2015). Stamina is very important to keep them stay energetic during the game (Connolly, 2015). It is very important among all players in badminton match where they can measure of their own progress until where they can going forth. In this matter, the player should retain its fitness even during the training sessions so they can perform well in the match game ("Badminton Fitness", n.d.). From the game between Malaysia and Indonesia during the SEA Games 2015, we can see and observe that Malaysian players had the weakness during in the competition. Especially, during the smash, the opponents (Indonesia) encounter the shuttlecock with a strong smash that causing Malaysian player couldn’t fend off the encounter. The physical demands of tournament tennis players can be and usually are very grueling. The body is using both anaerobic and aerobic metabolism along with anaerobic and aerobic muscle fiber types. Tennis is a high intensity sport requiring hundreds of short bursts of activity. Most points only last around 10 seconds(anaerobic) but there is only 25 seconds of rest in between points and 90 seconds of rest in between games which requires the player to have endurance(aerobic). Tennis matches can be long and drawn out, lasting hours or they can be fast, intense and only last an hour. This means having adequate nutrition along with an efficient metabolism is key to being able to compete at the highest level.

During practice optimal motivation and excitement need to be given to players to not only insure they progress in their skill aptitude, but also to make the environment fun, creative, and innovative for all athletes involved. Martens specifically describes the “flow experience” as an “optimal” time where players aren’t too anxious or under motivated to perform (Martens, 108). Coaches can heed this advice by planning light, medium, and intense exercise drills, changing the modes of exercise, changing the environment, or through utilizing the teaching principle called the “games approach” (Martens, 154). If the “games approach” is used then the monotony of training will decrease because fun tactical activities based around in game situations will be used instead of repetitive technique drills that often bore players and inspire them to quit a sport early in season. Shaping of play with different teammates or rules, focusing of play through freeze play drills, and enhancing play through different techniques are all effective ways to utilize the games approach to improve tactical sport awareness (Martens, 156). I first joined my high school’s tennis team when I was a freshman. Although I had little knowledge of the sport due to the district’s lack of a tennis program at the junior high I attended, I still wanted to experience something new. However once tryouts came around, I was one of the unfortunate ones to be cut for no logical reason. The news devastated me and made me feel that I wasn’t good enough to do anything. On the other hand, my friends made the team and encouraged me to try again the following year because they knew I could improve and be great. I took their advice and practiced from days on end the rest of my freshman year to improve and tryout for the team my sophomore year. Through the hard work and determination, I found myself on the team my sophomore year and joining varsity my junior and senior years, which made me feel a lot better about myself.
