Rising early, drinking coffee in the morning, using bad language it’s all our habits. Today we are doing to talk about habits in education and how the effect out study process. According to Webster’s New World Dictionary,’’ Habit is a thing done often and hence usually, done easily. It is a pattern of actions that become so automatic that it is difficult to break. Nowadays, most schools of today 's society often provide students with poor study skills, which preventing them to earn desirable development in education. The major concept of studying is education, so if the problem continues to accrue, students will be having no opportunities to develop their knowledge, to get a degree, and as a result receive a high-paying job in the future. Statisticians claim that the number one cause of college dropouts, are the use of bad study habits. …show more content…

Duhigg has transformed our understanding of habit’s power; he focuses on three-step loop, cue, routine, and reward. We can divide habit in two categories good and bad. Each student has a set of routine or habits that he has to do. It is very important to find the good habits from bad once. Habits that needed in becoming a good student includes study always, hardworking, reading books and waking up early, come to class on time, do homework and assignments, and as a reward get good grades. Same as in daily life habits in education are can never truly be broken, but if you can recognize the cues and change rewards to produce new routines, wrong habits can be replaced with better habits. Sure we highly depend on our habits, but we still have a choice which habits fill up
