Not only has the Italian influence significantly impacted the food and eating, it’s influenced everything to do with food: the growing, the marketing, the processing and the final product that’s a highly distinctive, healthy and imaginative cuisine [9]. Italians put an emphasis on using fresh seasonal produce, with imaginative and ingenious use of colours, textures and contrasting flavours [9]. Giada Furini (2018), a worker at 360 Graid Pizzeria e Trattoria, located in Adelaide, believes Italian food is very popular in Australia, as there’s a strong Italian community in Adelaide [1].
