Cricketers get paid too much for what they do .
For a country where diversity doesn't only prevail in cultures but sports and entertainment too, paying cricketers than sports persons who do much more hard work that is a suicidal attempt .cricketers train hard ,no doubt ,but footballers train harder. Cricketers are great entertainment ,the nation stands on its feet when their happens to be a nail biting suitation . But that docent justify the pay they get .its completely illogical ,if observed. You see, its the spectators who have brought such fame to the sports of cricket and people who enjoy the benefits are not the spectators .ridicilous it is to learn that cricketers deep the benefits of uplitsment of the sports .
They play a sports which requires lesser handwork that involved in many other sports namely hockey ,football, basketball ,etc. where each and every player is seen sprinting continuously for 70 or 90 mins. This is not the case with cricket this completely demotivation to other sports too .
On one hand a group of people believe that professionals in some crucial fields deserve to get more money in some that in cricket and they have

However some people consider it unfair that cricketers professionals can earn much more money than others in others professionals . in India they shouldn't get paid too much that money is too much for what they do however that money should be used in for the poverty people they would have great life if that money would be used in the people who are really in need for it . i know cricketer are get entertainer but they have to understand that they should not pay that much . i know the crowd of India is in cricket .but paying that much is too much .the government show understand that they should not get paid that much . It is not good for the poverty people
People that say elite sports people are overpaid do not know what they are talking about as sports people are paid for their skills just like any other occupation or career. For example, a specialist doctor is paid over three-hundred thousand dollars a year, this is an astronomical amount! On the other hand, an average AFL player is paid two-hundred and nineteen thousand a year, sure, there are some players in the AFL such as Chris Judd and Jonathon Brown who are regarded as the best and they might earn a little more than average but If anyone is overpaid it is these specialist doctors as any one can go to university and be come a doctor but it take natural talent and raw skill to be a top level AFL player.
Players do not deserve the money they receive. There are people who do much more than the players do. Why do teachers not get paid millions of dollars to teach kids? Some of those kids end up going on to become professional athletes. Police officers and firemen risk their lives to keep people safe and most of them do not even make any more than 95 thousand dollars a year (Megerian). These athletes get fined more money than that and hand it over like someone just asked them for one dollar. Players have all of this money and do not even do anything worth earning it. Why do they get this money? It is because fans value athletes more than the important things in life like education and family.
There are many risks involved in the sport and it is great to shed light on the situation as to improve playing conditions for the players and teams we hold dear to us. What is unfair is to demonize the fans who enjoy the sport. It is not immoral and cannot be
...es should not receive a salary, because they are already receiving a free education. Universities that would pay college football players would set a precedent that sports are more important than an education.
They risk their lifes for us but yet 65% of these wonderful men and women has to go on government assited programs to help support themselves. They should be paid more than someone who hits homeruns, scores touchdowns, or skates around on ice for an hour. Soldiers shouldn't have to pay for health care and all the others too, government should have to pay for the health insurance because soldiers are protecting our country from a lot of harm. If it wasn't for
The same should be said about every job so why is it that players, especially in the NFL, NBA and ABC are paid crazy salaries. There needs to be regulations and caps guiding how much a player can make. This would help insure that all sports remain competitive and everyone has a chance to win. There is no shortage in athletes who want to go pro. Due to the lack of requirements, the work schedule, and the fact that their job is to entertain. There needs to be real change in the sports industry. Lowering athletes’ salaries would only hurt the current players’ lifestyles. The ones up and coming would still have an excellent future if they made even 500,000 dollars a year. Which is still seven times higher than the WNBA is willing to pay their athletes. The WNBA are just as serious of a competitor as other sports, whether it be ice skating, wrestling or football. Therefore it’s time to make sure that every athlete women or male should get paid a fair and justifiable
In closing, these athletes are making too much money in a society that traditionally bases salaries on the value of ones work. These athletes do not know what real work is or how hard it is to make a dollar. Although their job is difficult, they do not play a role in our economy like their salaries indicate. Therefore, they should receive less money.
In William Shakespeare’s play Hamlet and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby, conflicts exist among characters, prompting them to take action against each other. As a result, revenge becomes a mutual theme between the two literary works. Although differing in the effects on readers’ opinions of vengeance, both Hamlet and The Great Gatsby reveal that acts of revenge lead to tragedy through the progression of character flaws. The characters in Hamlet face their downfalls as a result of vengeance.
"Money makes the world go 'round." Sports could not exist without the presence of money. You have high paid athletes asking for multi-million dollar contacts, while at the same time you have doctors not even making close to that amount. There are corporations buying out sports teams, buying stadiums, and buying everything that has to do with sports. Someone may ask why they do this. Sports are one of the most profitable industries in the world. Everyone wants to get their hand on a piece of the action. Those individuals and industries that spend hundreds of millions of dollars on these sports teams are hoping to make a profit, but it may be an indirect profit. It could be a profit for the sports club, or it could be a promotion for another organization (i.e. Rupert Murdoch, FOX). The economics involved with sports has drastically changed over the last ten years. In the United States, we spend about 13% of all money on sports and entertainment. Sports has obviously done its job; entertained and drained money out of our pockets.
Sports are an important part of our world. Take a look at any newspaper, listen to any radio, or watch TV for any length of time and there will surely be some sports information that is being passed along. The fact that sports figures get paid salaries that teachers can only dream about lets us know where our priorities lie in this society. Sports consume a lot of our time and energy, and because of this, they have great influence in our culture.
When addressing the value of entertainment, there is without a doubt, that we as a society value entertainment highly. But there is no reason that these athletes, who are here to merely entertain us, get paid higher wages than those that save our lives and teach us such as medical doctors and teachers. I find it ridiculous that players make millions of dollars a year, and yet demand more. The entertainment that these athletes provide is solely entertainment; it is not essential to the function or productivity of society. If I were to become a professional football player I would not complain about my salary for many reasons. I am playing the sport that I love and getting paid for it. The minimum wage for football is well over $100,000 a year, as is for many professional sports. These reasons by their lonesome are enough to warrant that the salary professional athletes are paid is suffice.
...r salaries are too high to compare. They do entertain the public, but the expense for the entertainment is too steep. Athletes should make a decent salary, but they should have control over their limits. They deserve a salary that would compare to other officials who are more important to the people and that have a role which effects the people as a whole. Something must be done before a drastic change occurs.
Sports are loved by many people, it is not just a game to these people it is a way of life, the industry entertains society and gives them an escape from the norms of life. The continuing growth of the sports industry creates more jobs for people which keeps the economy strong and fewer people from unemployment
Sport has always entertained and influenced our lives. It creates dreams for children and goals for adults. However, many fans are oblivious to the millions they pocket each year. It is without doubt that our sports stars are grossly overpaid. Their annual earnings exceed those we make in a lifetime, even when compared to highly qualified professionals.
When the world is so much into exploring different kinds of sports to literally nurture their athletic talents, India seems to be stuck within the boundaries of cricket only. It’s a very common factor that the Indian crowds are drastically mad about cricket matches. We all love our game, watching it, playing it and talking about it. Right from a chai-wala’s stall to school-colleges,
